The man before the Man,
The word before the Word,
The skybreaker, the forerunner,
Born of mania and water and to water
Consigned, designed and directed by
A right hand red with the stain of
Future sacrifice and victory
To free life,
To prove the first death false
With fervor and the spit of a river.
Ready from the womb, the language thief
Young and aware, significant, drowned
In faith and introspection
To breathe the water of the Lord
And find in the depths a truth,
A peace, a steady head,
A calm before the coming storm,
Something hidden and severe,
Secreted through kings' valleys and
Upon temples' steps revealed,
A melody to please the heart of man
Blanketed in the slow beat of a drum.

I liked this, but I found some of your imagery inconsistent.
I think this is a result of putting style before substance, Origami-san.
But that is very picky, and this is certainly a +2.
'Born of mania and water and to water consigned' is lovely.
