Well, she left me again.
Not necessarily the same girl, but they all turn out the same way. Just when they get too close, I slam the door on them. None of them can really be allowed in the inner reaches of my mind. To allow them to get close, I would have to make myself vulnerable.
I'm a man dammit, no one is allowed in.
I've stopped taking the phone calls, ignored the text messages.
What good could come of it? Telling her what I truly am and what I truly think can only hurt me. I'm only feeding her ammo for when it turns nasty and we fight again.
I tried to reach out this time though. When she interrogated me, I answered. Very reluctantly, but since when have I shown anyone that much?

And never again for that matter.
We fought over something fucking stupid. Was it about her mother's constant remarks? About how I could never measure up? How I'm not right for her?
Fuck her.
