Dear Sir,
I would advise that you change the hue and saturation of the monkey's head to match that of the background. Likely just more blue and red.
Also, to use the burn tool to make the bottom right (from our angle) area of the monkey's face more in shadow.
Remember to zoom in and be more careful when you're creating the edges, and also possibly touch up some of the colors by adding some dark blue shading, and peach highlights.
Please keep these things in mind the next time you photoshop something of this nature.
