This is a recent e-mail that I sent to a paranormal investigator at Shadowlands.com. It goes into alot of detail, this is why it is so lengthy. You are more than welcome to ask me any questions or give me any ideas that may be helpful.

Haunting?

I felt compelled to write an e-mail to you regarding my home. My fiance and I recently moved into this home a little less than a year ago, and I primarily, have experienced some what I feel isn't normal activity. We have 2 children and my daughter being 3, has always seem to 'interact' with something or someone, since before she was able to walk. My grandmother, who raised me and was very close to my son who is now 6, passed away in July of 2001. She unfortunately didn't have the chance to build the same bond with my daughter as she had with my son, since her last year here on earth she was very ill. I am not sure if this presence I feel is her or not, but I strongly feel as though something or someone is here with us.

The previous occupants of this home were my husbands sister, her husband and their 3 kids. When I spoke to my sister in law about the recent events, she had told me that they had experienced nothing at all while living here. But they both also worked full-time and with the activity of 3 chilidren constantly on the go, I don't feel as if anything would have been noticed anyways. And, to say the least, if she had, they would have left immediately. Me, on the other hand, and fascinated by all realms of the paranormal and am much more open minded, and accepting of the idea. Both my children being born on the 13th of April and June, I smile at the "bad luck number 13", and wonder sometimes why some people can be so 'close minded', if you will, regarding such issues.

It was my mother in laws home, who lived here before they did, and has since moved into an apartment, not wanting to deal with all the "up keep" of owning a home, so we have taken over the payments. It is a single story 3 bedroom home, built in the mid 80's. And although I haven't done any research, we do know that the house was bought from a middle aged man, who's wife had passed away. Now whether or not she passed away in the home or not, we do not know. I haven't really felt as though a full blown investigation is necessary at this point, as to the history of the home. So the only information that I have is just that. I'm not even sure to as if the man and his wife were the original owners, the house was 8-10 years old when my mother in law bought it. It's in a pretty upscale but older neighborhood, and to my knowledge no other homes have activity, but I haven't knocked on anyone's door and asked them either..lol. And like I said, nor my mother in law, or my sister in law and her family had ever had any experiences.

When we first moved into the home, I immediately started working full-time and unfortunately didn't get to spend alot of waking hours in the house. Other than to do the basic nesting of getting comfortable in the home, and basic home repairs such as painting, and fixing up some things that had been neglected in the past years of it's occupancy. It was only recently (mid-march/2003) that I had the ability to become a stay at home mother and really start decorating, and enjoy being a "home owner" if you will. I must also mention, that all of my in-laws that have lived here previosuly, did very little decorating, and in any sense make the home feel "homey". Anyways, I have a bad habit of staying up into the wee hours of the morning either online, or reading, and it's been normally during my 'down-times' alone, which the most 'activity' is felt and or seen.

The issues I have experienced have been somewhat mundane, compared to others who tell the stories of hauntings in their home. I deal with small issues like, the tv turning off by itself after a brief argument with my husband about watching tv and eating dinner at the same time (I felt as though someone was agreeing with me to say the least)...this being the only incident that my husband has experienced.

Also, I thought at first I could have been hallucinating, but then it became more regular, I would see out of the corner of my eye something walk past me. It varies in size, sometimes being what seems the size of an adult, and more recently smaller, like maybe that of a child. And of course when I would turn to look, nothing was there. Mostly being dark in color, and taking on the apperance of a shadow ghost. It's never a 'formed being', like I said, I usually catch it out of the corner of my eye, and can see it, but never get the chance to truley focus on it.

Toys in my daughters room would go off (if battery operated) by themselves, one in particular being on a night that I was feeling kindof alone, as my fiance works nights, and watching a sad movie began to cry, thinking about my recently passed grandmother. Well her 'Ernie' doll said out of the middle of no-where, "I feel great!", something this doll says when put into a sitting position after being laid down. I froze, but then said to myself, 'the batteries must be going out', and went on with my movie. Well about 5 minutes later, some toy, not sure at all which one, began rattling or shaking by itself spontaneously. It only lasted about 2-3 seconds, but was obvious enough for me to know, and think, wow what was that?!? I must also mention that my daughter sleeps in my room at night so her room is empty at night. Needless to say the first thing I looked for was my cat, and he was laying on the other couch beside me. Well, when I got the courage to walk into her room, the air was so thick and almost humid like, it almost took my breath away. These 2 back bedrooms are usually the hottest or coldest when either the a.c. or heater is on, and the ac was on, being only a few months ago and I live in Texas.

There have also been experiences, that my daughter will come out of her room laughing and kindof rolling her eyes and say "Mama..there is a ghost in my room!!". At first I doubted her sense to even know what a ghost was, and chocked it up to way too much scooby-doo, but then came to the realization that scooby-doo probably taught her what a ghost was. Thus enabling her to be able to tell the difference. Also this has been a re-occurring event with her, she has talked about ghosts and seeing ghosts since she could talk. Never seeming afraid of them, never crying or scared she kind of has this "oh man not another one" type of attitude. Don't get me wrong though either, it's not like she's drawing pictures of them, nor seems to have 'psychic abilities'..she's a normal child, just maybe 2-3 times a week, she will bring up a ghost, in her 3 year old conversation. I would always ask curiously about them, and ask her 'where is the ghost Paige?' and she would either point to a corner in her room, or very casually say, 'right there mama, playing toys'. I would never feel, or sense anything out of the ordinary.

There was an episode this past Easter Sunday that she had come out of her room talking about there was a ghost in there. Well, I told her in a non-shaluant kindof way, 'ok well, ya'll play nice' and went on about my household chore. Well I had just sat down and grabbed the remote, when out of the corner of my eye, I saw this great flash of light. I turned to look and literally witnessed it disappear within itself. (Like when you turn off an old tv set and the screen disappears into the middle.) It only lasted a split second, but I saw it, it was facinating. That experience leaving the hairs on the back of my neck to stand straight up. Paige then came out of her room, saying 'ok mama, ghost bye bye'. And it was then, that I realy started to pay attention and realize that something maybe out of the norm was going on.

More recently, the activity has become what I feel to be more 'poltergeist' like. I was researching some info on the internet, trying to learn more about the possibilites of what it could be, and trying to learn as much as I could, so that I really would feel comfortable in ruling out 'basic home activity', from this house truly having some type of presence. I swear to you, on the bible if you could see me, that a sconce (candle holder) I have had hanging on the wall since a little after Christmas, literally leaped off the wall. I'm sitting right in front of the wall that it came off of, and it landed in a basket of clean laundry that was at the other end of the couch from me. So, I'm sitting right next to this basket, about a seat cusion away, and every hair on my arms and on the back of my neck stood straight up. I felt parylized, too afraid to even look at it. I picked up the phone and called my fiance, and only when I felt I had some ''protection' if you will, I looked over at it. I was just shocked. This is a fairy large sconce, and having the type of bracket on the back that it literally has to 'fit' over the nail. The nail was gone, and wasn't in the back of the sconce. It wasn't broken, but I just kept staring at it. Well I'm on the phone with my fiance and realized I had probably caused a stir, so I walked towards my bedroom to go check on my daughter. he second I put my hand on the doorknob, my sons picture fell off the same wall. Directly opposite from where the sconce had been. There is a large picture in the middle, sconce on one side and on the other side there are 3, 8x10 frames in a stair step effect. The picture closest to the large one in the middle was the one that fell. I turned and looked, saw what happen and ran into my bedroom. I'm still on the phone with him, crying now, b/c i'm so shocked it is so obvious. He made me go look a few minutes after it happen to tell him if the nail was in the wall, and for this picture it was. There was no reason for it to fall. I didn't leave the house or anything, but needless to say I went to bed right after we got off the phone. And still haven't found the nail for the sconce.

Two nights later, same senario, I'm up way too late, on the internet and another occurance. I have this old timey looking radio that my mother in law got me a few years ago for Christmas. It's a new radio, it's just made to look old. It sits here on the end table right by me at the end of the couch. Well for the past year we have lived here, we can't for the life of us, pick up a radio station with it. So needless to say, it's been plugged in, and on the on position for months with nothing, not even static coming thru the speakers. We thought the radio had finally just died, and were basically keeping it for looks. Well, out of no-where it comes on. Only again, for about 3-4 seconds, and it's not music, it was basically static, but you coudld hear something talking, but had no chance or time to hear, or decipher what they were saying. Again I call my fiance, and he immediately asks me "anything happen tonight?" and I told him jokingly, that from now on I wasn't telling him anything, I was afraid they would all put me in an institution, thinking I was going nuts...lol. He laughed, but we both agreed then, that it was time to maybe ask somebody what they thought.

Candles seem to flicker wildly when I sit and concentrate about what I am possibly feeling, regarding these issues, or am researching for information on the internet. I experience 'noises' all the time that can't seem to be accounted for, and my son's plastic clock won't stay on the wall for anything in his bedroom. The temprature in the house seems to fluctuate pretty drasticly, being almost hot for a few minutes, then back to normal room temp. Only in the personal space at the time you occupy.

Like I said, some of these are pretty mundane issues, compared to some stories i'm sure you've heard, but I feel as though what ever I am dealing with is growing stronger, now that I seem to have taken notice of it. Not necessarily with actions wise, but just the overall feeling of feeling like someone is watching you, and being able to walk into a room, and really 'feel' like someone is in there. None of this has been negative, and I have not been scared by whatever this is. I have also made it clear to whatever or whomever it is, that I am not afraid and we can share this home, as long as this relationship puts no-one in danger, and we live gracefully amongst one another peacefully.

I will also add, that these occurances happen with no regularity. There are some nights that I will experience one or two experiences in one night, and then some nights there is nothing eventful. From what I can gather that I have put in my journal, is it seems to be one to three events in a month's time. No forks flying accross the room at anyone, my dining room chairs are always the way I leave them, and no dead bodies popping up in the backyard, so I will have to tell hollywood we aren't poltergiest just yet...lol. But if my daughter starts staring wickedly at a tv screen with no picture, I promise we'll go to a hotel.

I just thought I would share my story with someone who maybe deals with stories like this all the time, to see what you think. I know it's hard to offer someone an opinion on something you yourself haven't experienced in my home, but maybe just an idea, of what you might think I could be dealing with. I am willing to answer any questions asked.

If not, if you could possibly point me in the right direction, to be able to learn how to more effectively research my experiences, so that I may learn more about either what to expect, and possibly what to watch out for, and to be able to really tell if this is a paranormal experience.

Thank you very much for your time and reading my story. I appreciate any help or advice you can or will offer.

End.
Also I want to add, that I own a video camera that has a night time inferred feature, that unfortunately is being borrowed by a relative of mine for making a short movie. When we get it back, I will try to set this up one night to see if I get anything out of the ordinary.

Thanx for reading..xox Queen

BerZ, thanks for the reply. That is some freaky shit. I tried using one (the ones you get at KMart!) when I was younger and nothing happened, I felt out nerves were moving the centerpiece more than anything. As I got older I wanted to try again but was always kind of nervous about it.
Again, thanks for sharing, don't be suprised if you catch an email from me in the future.

Berz, I will keep your e-mail on hand, and hope to chat with you further about this outside of Uber. I will keep you updated to all that goes on also. I notice that you mentioned you were in the hospital, is everything ok? I will pray that you're ok.

Queen

and Papsmear, I LOVE the fact that you hate an online name. Amazing to me that some people can be so lame.

Hi all,

Sorry, I have been in the hospital and haven't had time to continually
check this thread.

I would LOVE to corespond via email. My email is not listed in Ubersite, however.

You can email me at JamesR25.at.aol.com

auji girl, it sounds like your gift is quite developed, drop me an email and
we can chat about it. I think that if I took the time to concentrate and develop
the skills that I could more fully control them instead of them controling me.

PAS and Queen.. Drop me an email and we can discuss this further.

Kim.. I have, unfortunetly and against my better judgement, used a Ouija board
on a few select occasions. Mostly in my quest to understand my gift and control
the happenings around me. I was foolish in this act, however, because it only
caused more problems. The Ouija board opens a communication with ANY spirit
strong enough to control the board. You have no bets on who or what you are speaking
to. I'll share with you one quick story.

I lived in an apartment that had a bit of negative energy. This is not the same
apartment as in the story I told before. I lived with two girls and apparently,
a few spirits. One of the girls purchased a Ouija board to attempt a contact with
the negative spirit in order to ask it to leave. I will admit that my curiousity
clouded my judgement on this occasion. Instead of contacting the one spirit, we
contacted two. The bad, that was very strong and forced the Ouija at various speeds.
And one other, who was in terrible fear of the negative spirit. This went on for a short
time before we decided that it was making things worse. We put the Ouija board into
the closet and left it there for a while. One night, while watching tv, we heard a loud
bang from the bedroom. Rushing into the closet, we found that the Ouija board had
been thrown on the floor and the box opened. I suggested the quick removal of the
board from the house, but the girls took it to mean that the spirit wanted to speak
to them. Quickly, they located the better spirit which in turn, asked them to not
use the Ouija board any further and to remove it from the house, which we did the
next day.

I have not since used a Ouija board and do not plan on it any time soon. As I said,
you have no way of knowing how much you are strengthening each spirit that comes to
speak on the board.

Lesions,
The more I read the ignorant shit you spew, the more amazed I am at the fact you know how you wipe your own ass.
I was never "seeking" advice from any website including uber. I was seeking people's opinions, and ideas. The only reason I visited shadowlands and ghoststudy, is because both sites have info, as to how to contact local paranormal investigators. You're not experiencing what i'm experiencing in my home. So your judgement and lame remarks are about as important to me, as the dirt me and my family walk upon. Go to hell Lesions, If there is any one person that I feel pity upon, it's your mother, and the pain she must feel for realizing what a piece of shit son she raised.

Kim, audjgirl, anyone else who wants to know more about me (in this context) - please email me I don't want to discuss any more personal details about this stuff in this thread.

However, I will repeat my stance on Ouija boards - I do not use one, have NEVER used one, and never intend to use one - they are VERY DANGEROUS. Do NOT 'play' with Ouija boards.

Cheers
PAS.

And one more thing

Queen Ho, ruler of prostitution.

Now that I know you think there are ghost roaming your house and actually seeking advice from ubersite, shadowlands.com and ghoststories.com, it proves to me idiotic people like you do really exist in this world. Make sure you teach your children the ways of the ghost buster, I pity your children so much.

You are right on one part, I have alot of hatred, alot of hatred for people like you, hope you die.

My concluding advice for your "ghost" problem, burn down your house and buy a trailer, because your home can move everytime another "bogey man" decides to "haunt" you. If your lucky, maybe the ghost will burn down your house for you. I guess ghost really do know how to find retards in this world to actually scare.

or you can go here.
http://roswell.fortunecity.com/deva/62/index.Exorcisms.htm

Absolute retards. Queen is sheer proof.

And the "ghost story" was indeed a STORY. Get that through your thick brain, you can't get it the

One more thing...

"..I know you don't care what other people pray and hope upon you because obviously you don't believe in magical spiritual power. I fucking hope you'll never get a good nights sleep people your out of your mind about the spirits haunting your house, I hope more spirits will torture you till the day you finally decide to move out..."

Is it just me, or does this shit not make one bit of sense?
If I didn't believe in 'magical spiritual power', I would have never written the post. And the only reason i'm saying I do believe in it, is b/c I know what you MEANT to say in reference to 'magical spiritual power'. You are referring to God, and the power of prayer. And pretty much all things unknown. I wrote the post, b/c, what do ya know, that's something unknown.

Sill what amazes me more, has to be that last sentence. I thought ghosts didn't exsist lesions?...LMAO

Lesions,

Did you forget to take your medicine today hun? Was that little rambling on your just performed suppose to do anything other than make me laugh? You just made it extremely obvious that everything I said to you in my previous reply, was true. For you to get so defensive, and mean over something so mundane, I obviously struck a nerve with you. You're the one that made yourself look stupid by coming on to my thread and telling everyone 'ghosts don't exsist' ect ect, when you yourself have even written a 'ghost story'.

I came on here just to tell somebody about what's been going on. Whether or not YOU believe in ghosts, is not even revelant here. I don't care if you don't believe in God, your opinions and beliefs, in NO WAY, affect my life, or situation. But I think the funniest thing of all, has to be the fact that you will sit there and tell me over and over 'ghosts aren't real', blah blah unicorns and santa clause, and be so ignorant, as to refer to ghosts as if they are and were, nothing more than mythical creatures.

But during your curse to me, did you or did you not say, that you wish spirits upon me to scare me into moving?

Fucking hypocrit.

Your psycho babble in no way offends me, but I really do have pity on you. I have pity on the fact that you were raised in such an environment that catered to the hate you express today. I pity the fact that everyday of your life you have a closed and negative mind. I pity the fact that you will never amount to anything in your life, b/c of your negative and hostile attitude. My prayers will be to help you Lesions. Help you to see the error of your ways, and some day become a happier person. I wish nothing but good upon you, and no harm to ever come to you. I could very easily take the chance of 3 fold with you, but you're not worth the time it takes to cast the spell.

Queen bitch, You got on my nerves now.

I'll tell you how I truly feel because I've tried to be reasonable and of course you have to say some shit to expand my hatred for you even more, whore.

I hope you turn insane because obviously you are, you and your nutcase for a husband should just kill yourselves now because you believe in absolutely everything that comes from a website like Shadowlands.com and TRUEGHOSTSTORIES.com. You're worst than a 6 year old, you are not worthy of having children.

I hope your majesty and her children get killed by a neighborhood physchopath, I wish you get hit by a bus and paralyzed for life so that your can be fed 24/7 by liquified food.

You believe in magical unicorns, gnomes, ghostly apparitions, sea dragons, then when I say that im praying for you be cursed forever in your home and that your children will forever be cursed, I cast a plague upon your household. I fucking pray that you will get hit by a bus and paralyzed for life, I fucking pray the same for your children. I know you don't care what other people pray and hope upon you because obviously you don't believe in magical spiritual power. I fucking hope you'll never get a good nights sleep people your out of your mind about the spirits haunting your house, I hope more spirits will torture you till the day you finally decide to move out. I pray you will have a gas leak and your hold burns to the ground.

I swear I fucking hope all this on you.

i read this post and its responses and got a chill up my spine. i have a mild case of telepathy as well as some minor pyschic abilities. mine mostly include something to the effect of being able to "feel" spirits, or energy, hearing things these spirits say apparently better than Berz who said he only hears jumbled mumblings, and picking up on negative or positive energy.

i don't see outlines or spooky shadows, i see actual people...usually it depends on the strength of the "signal" kind of like a cell phone--it just depends on how resilient the spirit is. a lot of times it's like from the waist up, clear but transparent definition of shoulders, face, and arms but almost misty at the bottom.

i can hear quite clearly. i met my boyfriend's best friend this way, seeing as he's been dead for three years now. he came to see aaron for his 21st birthday. i have ignored every ghost i have ever come across. he would only come when we were both in bed and he would speak to aaron, but be ignored because aaron couldn't pick it up. finally i think he realized i could hear him (i was probably freaking out) and he used me to speak to him. not as a medium but more as a translator. he spoke and i told aaron what he was saying. he (the best friend) left the house the next day. i know because the feeling of his presence was gone.

i know this review is jumbled but it mostly because i don't know how to express any of this. i don't think anyone else in my family has this, but i do know my brother, (when he was about 6/7) was also very prone to picking up energy. he isn't any longer. i seem to be the only one who has retained this ability. PAS, i'd really like to hear from you about this. i have ignored this ability mostly because i don't normally encounter good spirits. i apparently am a magnet for the meaner ones and to be honest, they scare me.

good luck queen, i wish i could offer some better advice. i walked away from most the spirits i've encountered. i would just say to check out what you can online, maybe if you're christian to have the house blessed. good luck :D

Hello all,

Sorry for the delay in response, I have been doing a little bit of research and checking out some awesome websites that my girl PAS sent me the link for.

Jwlmar- You made a comment, that referred to me calling you a "close minded retard" when no such thing came out of my mouth. You obviously took everything I said completely out of context without really understanding what was said. I never said that it made you 'stupid' or anything else for that matter to have a closed mind. I also never said that to believe in "ghosts" would let you have an open mind. The statement I made, was in regards to the fact that b/c you think that 100% that things of this nature just simply don't happen, yes, it means that unto this specific realm, your mind is closed. It doesn't at all make you a "retard", it's just sad that you will not allow your mind to explore beyond the simplicities of everyday life. It doesnt matter what the hell your IQ is, Einstein only had an IQ of 160 something, and many people since him have beaten his IQ score. That doesn't mean however that this man didn't have a genious mind. He was able to touch on and use the realms of his brain that most people couldn't function with, and don't even begin to know how to explore. So as you sit there and think 'wow, im smarter than Einstein" is absoloutly absurd. He genious was a level, you my friend will NEVER understand.

Berz, Ronn, Bottom, and forgive me for not being able to remember everyones name, Thank you again, for all the thoughtful and great advice. This has been quite the experience, and all of your great stories and insight has helped tremendously. Berx I think you have a facinating gift, that amazes me with every story you tell. You seem like a very interesting person, and your stories intrigue me. You said something about being able to see 'differences' in the air, if you will, with the atmosphere n such, wanna come over?...lol.

Lesions, I won't even begin to say how hypocritical you look writing a story about a ghost, and then coming on my post, talking about there is no such thing. I think you and jwlmar both are so defensive towards this issue, b/c you yourself have experienced something that couldn't be explained. And b/c you were raised to be so 'level headed' and 'mind straight' you felt it was wrong of you to even express curiosity with your experience. Thus making you angry and defensive towards people that have the open mind and the ability to explore all realms, that you were denied and still choose not to participate in.

And PAS- my girl =) I can't even begin to express thanx enough to you. It's been so great getting to know you, and you have helped me so much with this, in especially feeling like i'm not alone out here. I can't wait to recieve more e-mails from you, and am anxious to get to know you further. It's so neat to find a kindrid spirit that fully understands what you mean! I think we need to bring Berz in on it all! =) Save him a place on the 'energy star'!

Thanx to everyone that offered advice and stories. I will keep everyone updated as to what happens.

And to all the people who think this is 'rubbish', and giving me -2 and calling it b/s, pick up a book and expand your shallow silly little minds!

Check out this website for AWESOME ghost photography, and sounds. This is a highly accredited website.

I think people don't want to believe in what they are afraid of.

Bob, if you ever saw a ghost, you would never again say that there was
no such thing.

Anyone who has never had a paranormal experience can not argue the fact
simply based on opinion. I have seen things that can not be explained.

That is a fact.

Not necessarily legiOns, a book may fall 99% of the time but another time be carried off by a freak gust of wind and never be seen again. We'd never know what happened to it, it could be floating around forever - unless you can prove to me it fell.

Would that disprove the theory of gravity? Not necessarily - but what does that have to do with proving that ghosts don't exist? Your argument is tenuous at best.

You try to tell me scientific laws cannot be broken giving the example of the Law of Gravity.

Newtons law of gravity - was topped by Einstein with his theory of relativity. Newtons theories do not work on an atomic level - Quantum mechanics explains those.

"Laws" are just shared scientific consensus, they are subject to change.

Well, you have to remember that every single thing on this planet is made out of energy. Energy can change form, but it can not be destroyed. This COULD explain paranormal events such as ghosts and spirits. The glass of water thing actually makes sense. Many afro-caribbean religions that deal with spirits believe that glasses filled with water can confort spirits ( they dont go away at all, they just find confort there). Queen, the most important thing here is that you keep an open mind, fill your house with good vibes and then try to make some research about what could be haunting your home. You have to keep in mind that not all spirits are "evil" and that perhaps sharing your home with a benevolent one is not a bad idea at all. I do agree with legi0ns that the ouija board ( at least the comercial versions of it) and shadowlands are hyped bullshit, so I do not recommend you finding answers there. Try doing some research about the subject ( I suggest a visit to your local library/bookstore rather than just looking it up in the internet) and then try to contact someone who has knowledge about the subject ( be careful here, the world is full of charlatans and people who follow them).
BTW, excuse my english, it is not my first language and im just starting to get a hold of it.
I hope this helps.....

HAHA, now this is truly hilarious. I must say this article is most interesting to me, but I do not or should I say, refuse to believe in all this "completely illogical" nonsense, as Jwl said. I am going to be fair in my comments and hold my hatred and pity for Queen for another day, for I see if i continue slandering her the cycle will never end I fear.

Why the in world would one buy an Uuija Board? And do you honestly believe you can communicate with spirits. Haha yes the company that produce these products seriously believe you can talk to dead people... You people are nuts.

Put a glass of water under your bed and ghost are going to go away...no comment.

For PAS, There is no such thing as reincarnation, or continuing cycles of life bullshit. When something dies, it stays dead. The body will remain where it died and decompose. When anything is dead, it's "spirit" does not stay within any "plane", and even so if such thing as a "spirit" exist then it would not have the ability to move/drop/break any objects of the "earthly plane" simply because it does not possess a physical form. There are laws for everything and if you wish to compose a law out of nowhere such as the Law of Gravity, then prove it with substantial evidence. When I say evidence I mean evidence that is logical so that everyone will know it, not believe it to be so. The Law of gravity explains that an unseen force is everywhere around us on earth, and because of this unseen force everything that goes up must come down eventually. Another example, If you put your hand over fire you will get burned, you touch the fire you will get burned, there is no exceptions, for the law of Gravity there is no exceptions.

Your theory that ghost do indeed exist is flawed in only 100000 billion ways.
The feeling of increased humidity or a chill is caused by, obviously your body.
We have learned that when we are aroused by our feelings our body simply will feel hot because our adrenaline is being increased, you however are not aware of this because your concentration on the "ghost" is so great. The chill is because you were exposed to an increase in body temperature so afterwards you will cooler, and this might be your chilling experience, the same thing goes for breaking a sweat. The goosebumps that you experience is also by your feeling of fear or nervousness. Why is this all so? Why do you experience fear? Everyone fears the unknown, there is nothing more frightfull than it, and because of this your body is being weakened by your mind.

The pictures of the "spirits" on shadowlands.com are quite the bullshit. Just because pictures contain tiny appearances like circles one is going to believe in ghosts now? People can edit pictures you know, its not impossible, and to believe in ghosts because of these phony pictures like these are insane.

You might as well believe in the lochness, the yeti, big foot, gnomes, trolls, underground elves, superman. This was certainly amusing.

Oh yeah jwlmar10, if ghosts don't exist how do you explain that Queen's daughter has seen a ghost, she has seen a ghost, I have seen a ghost, BerZerk has seen ghosts, ronnockeem has seen ghosts. Have we all been hallucinating? Why are we all wrong and you are right? 4 out of the 9 people who have replied to this thread have seen ghosts, nearly half.

Were the hundreds of thousands of people who think they've seen/heard something all temporarily insane? I don't think so. I agree with you that ALL rational explanations should be explored before deciding that an occurence was supernatural and too many people jump to wrong conclusions. But this still leaves thousands of valid unexplainable phenomena.

jwlmar10 you're wrong. The evidence of life after death collected is HUGE. It's not just photographs, its videotapes, it's recordings of disembodied voices, it's people who are not mentally disturbed hearing these voices, physically feeling that 'something' is there - drops in temperature etc.

How do you explain how mediums can tell absolute strangers things that they had no way of knowing? Even if you reply 'the mediums are not talking to dead people, that is some form of telepathy between them and the stranger', then you would be admitting that *something* paranormal exists.

You still haven't answered my question - disprove ghosts to me. Go on.

Ghosts, although most dont really want to do you any harm,
can be freaky as hell. I moved into the house that I live in right
now when I was five. Now I'm almost sixteen. The first night that
I slept in my new house, a small white girl approached my bed with a
candle. I remember it like it was yesterday.
I was a five year old kid. I was terrified. I eventually began to
talk to her. I began by asking her who she was, where she was from, etc.
I eventually realized that she couldn't speak. I then began to ask yes
or no questions, and she would respond with nods and shaking her had.
I remember telling my mother about this, and she told me that at
times she'd experienced the same sort of things, in every house she'd ever
lived in, including our current one. One of the clearest memories of the
occurances that I've had was one night, when I asked the little girl if she
was lost. She nodded, and than wondered out of my room. I jumped out of
bed an followed her down the hallway. Then she began to walk down the stairs,
and I followed, but by the time I got to the bottom she was gone.
Other than her, I have also been visited by two old women who used to stand
by a fishtank in the corner of the room while I slept. At the time both of my
grandmothers were live, so I didn't think that tey were relatives. The odd thing
about these phemomenons was that this house was built for us. It really has no past
that we aren't aware of, but maybe something happened on the land.
Anyway, good luck, if anything dangerous/violuent does happen be sure to get out.

A glass of water?! Aaaaarrrrgghhhhh! You thought the glass of water helped but there was never any ghost in the first place. Also, if you try to hear or see ghosts you will interpret anything that you want to hear or see as a ghost. All that you need to do to get over this ghost issue is to ask yourself if you are wasting your time thinking that spirits of the dead are trying to spook you for apparently no reason. Why can't people realize how stupid this sounds? Ghosts aren't real. There is no evidence that ghosts exist beyond crappy photographs that can't be trusted. Some people need to seriously grow up and get a grasp on the real world.

I will share one story with you all.. I hope this helps Queen.

I lived in an apartment that was haunted by a polterguiest. At first, there was no
sign of any disturbance in the place. Everything was normal. Then, small things
began to happen. You could walk through a room and someone would grab your shirt from
behind and pull it. You could leave a room and pull the door shut, only to have
someone pull it from the other side. I went to flip the light switch on once and it
flipped on in my hand. Long story short, things got much worse, real quick. And the
biggest problem was that my roomates would continually talk about it, alerting the
spirit that it was making progress. I think it quickly learned that I could hear it
and feel it much more frequently than the others. One night, I had just laid down to
sleep, and I felt hands on my body, which held me to the bed. I couldn't move. I
began to panic when I heard a voice in my ear that I can only describe as inhuman.
It said "Leave me alone." Obviously it was angry that we were in the apartment.

Right away I took action to disperse this spirit. I asked it to leave, to no avail.
It began messing with the television while you were watching it. I tried candles,
everything. It was then that I began researching a more paranormal way to disperse
the spirit. I spoke to a wiccan woman who told me to place a glass of water under my
bed. The spirit was gone within the week. I am not exactly sure what the glass of
water did, but it worked.

So try that Queen. Place a glass of water where ever you are having the most activity.

Hope that helps.

I saw the site and most of the pictures seem to be explained by problems with the film. The point that I would like to make is that there will always be things that can't seem to be explained, but I consistently find that the most simple explanation for an unknown phenomena is the correct explanation. It seems foolish to attribute bad photographs to ghost activity.

Just to make my point clear - I *don't* still believe in fairies, elves or Father Christmas. LOL. But you can't deny there is a *lot* of circumstantial 'evidence' collected by thousands of people about ghosts. So many people have had experiences that can't be easily explained. From a scientific point of view surely it's TOO easy to sweep all these occurences under the rug and dismiss them. I grew up in the Karl Popper scientific school of thought - if you can disprove a theory we have to abandon or modify the theory.

So if scientists think people die and that's it and then there are recordings of apparitions that can't be explained by natural phenomena - who is right?

Yo jwlmar10, what Queen is discussing is not helped by people saying "ghosts don't exist". YOU think they don't exist, she does. What proof do you have that they DON'T exist?

It can't be proven without a doubt that they DO exist (although there is tons of phenomena caught on photo and videocameras) but the reverse is also true. Just giving the girl -2's when she is asking for help is not productive to you, her or anyone.

Many people who post on Ubersite are intelligent - that's not the point. You say ghosts are illogical. Why? It makes more sense to believe that before we were born we existed and after we die we still exist. Reincarnation fits in with the circle of life principle completely. You yourself admitted that you used to believe in ghosts as a child. I did too. I also believed in fairies, elves, father christmas etc. When you grow up you realise there is no evidence, only hearsay or mythology that any of these things exist - EXCEPT ghosts and the paranormal. There is so much evidence all around you.

Just for an example. Look here and tell me what you think:

I don't see how believing in supernatural spirits will lead me to mental enlightenment. Please explain this. How can you even think that you are smarter than me because you still believe in the boogeyman? The truth is that I used to believe in ghosts when I was a child and then I realized that I might as well believe in invisible leprachauns. It's simply a stupid thing to believe in and especially to fear.

I think it's funny that you call me a closed-minded retard considering I have the IQ of Einstein or Mozart. I am not closed-minded, but merely skeptical. I am skeptical enough to know that believing in invisible spirits of dead people is both stupid and a waste of time because it is completely illogical.

In closing I will take your advice and continue to sit back and drink my beer. I feel like I need to be intoxicated anyway so that I can communicate on your pathetic level.

Jwlmar, It's sad to say really, but the truth hurts. It's people like you that live in this earth everyday with such a closed and neagative mind, that will never have the joy of ever experiencing anything mentally fascinating. It doesen't have to be a haunting, or even related to spirits. It can be anything that isn't necessarily explained. Like an overwhelming feeling of joy, relaxation, or even the purest and non sexual form of mental exstacy. So, sorry to say, but you don't even apply in this conversation. We are above you mentally, and your thoughtless and mundane comments are only making you look, even more naive than you already are. So sit back, drink your beer and waste your life, while the rest of us knows what it really means, to enjoy a state of mental haven, that you will never embark upon.

Some people believe that the 'tunnel of light' that people see then they have a near death experience is just their memory of being born. Also that the 'strange figures welcoming you into a new world' are probably doctors and nurses.

Each religion has their own way of dealing with wayward spirits. From what I know, Christianity requires a priest to come and drive away the spirit with the power of God. Saying prayers to guardian angels and whatnot are supposed to bring you protection on a daily basis.

The Chinese believe that burning a paper version of an object can send it to the afterlife for loved ones. (I've seen servants, houses, cars, cell phones, jewelery, clothing ... all made of paper.) Each time they burn something, it must be addressed to a person with a piece of paper. Wandering spirits who linger on our plane were thought to be people who died unclean deaths, or have no family to send them to the afterlife. Hospitals were thought to be a heavily haunted area, so when someone leaves the hospital, they must step over a basin of burning paper to avoid bringing evil spirits into their house. July 14th is the 'Spirit's Day' where the gates between our world and their world are opened and spirits are allowed to roam for one day. People then burn stuff, like afterlife money and paper clothes for the wandering spirits, kinda like a donation for the homeless. Strange belief, but it's interesting to see bonfires all along a street on July 14th.

What helloitsme says makes sense. I'm not going to argue the whole spirit/demon thing, I think it is probably a dead person/people but there are worse things out there, so she might be right.

However, about being open-minded. There is nothing wrong with finding stuff out so long as you PROTECT yourself - by saying prayers (if you believe in God) or performing a wicca spell or protection ritual or whatever you believe in. She is right, you have to be careful. Like don't use a Ouija board. Ever again!!

Queen just to let you know, I am not an expert on the properties of candles, herbs or incense.

I strongly suggest you read some websites, do searches on google for white magic, etc if you want to know more. Don't take any site at face value, make sure a few different ones say the same thing before rushing out and buying what they suggest.

You could try this site for starters, they have quite a bit of info on herbs and candles. But like I said, don't just take their word for it, read widely. Black can be used for protection but also for negative stuff like revenge, so I don't like the idea of burning black candles. <shrug>.

hi queen, im not the one who believes in ghosts. In my opinoin, once people are dead, they go to heaven or hell. But demons, thats another story. Its so possible for them to be in that same house. Try to get as much as possible info about the house. Its nto always the people who lives(ed) in the house, but what could have it been built over? a burial ground? a piece of land where soehing happened like 100 years ago... try to find out as much as possible. And try prayign over your house (as long as you mean it) i have noticed you saying how you like to be open-minded. Well, sometimes its not safe. Take your limits very carefully. demons like to go inot open-minded people and make them do things that insane people wouldnt even do. Im not sure if your a christian, but i am and that is why i think you should be careful... When your in Gods will, whatever happens, happens for the best. I have lived in a house like yours once. Channelers lived in their before us, and every couple ended up getting killed or divorce. Luckily we were in Gods will and we moved out
4 anythign could happen to my parents. It was buried over an indian burial ground. No, im not telling you to be a christian and everything will be fine. Not everythings is perfect when you are a christian. But what i would do, is try to find out as much as info as you can about the house. And watch out about being open minded a little bit too much. Ill be praying for you and the protection for you, your fiance, and your children. God Bless you, Queen.

Awesome PAS, i'll look forward to your e-mail. Thanks alot again, for all your help. It's really appreciated.

I must also mention, that there was one specific episode that I had forgotten to mention in the letter. The night of the toys going off in my daughters room, I had called my mother, who does belive in things like this. And I hadn'tn been on the phone for more than a minute or 2 and she asked me "who is that?" I was like 'hu?', and she said again, "who is that talking in the background?, is that Jon? (my fiance), I said 'no mom, i'm here alone, Jon is at work', and she cut me off and said "well turn down the tv bc I can hear a mans voice, they sound like they are telling you to tell me something"...I just kindof sat there for a sec and then said 'mom, the tv is off, and no-one else is here!, what are they saying mom?, tell me!" and she kindof just said "well I couldnt make it out, but I cold have sworn I heard a man say 'Briget, tell your mom...' but, no big deal, could have been my phone" And i'm like "Mom?! no big deal?!?! your pone? who else would happen to be saying my name?!..hahah", well I then went on to finish the reason why I had called her (telling her about the goings on in my daughters room) and then she knew why it had bugged me so much about what she had said she heard.

Anyways...thought I would share that. I didn't hear anything at all...? I dunno, what do you think of something like that?

Candles and incense are thought to have specific properties. Burning all different types will send out mixed messages. While you're being haunted:

WHITE candles only!! (Positive)

Sage, frankincense or sandalwood insence. (Protective) Rue and bay herbs are meant to be very protective too.

Let that natural daylight in.

Oh yeah, so that Berz does not misunderstand me, telling the ghost(s) to "leave in peace" "leave you alone" is about all you should say to them. He's right in the sense, don't chat to it, ask it questions or ask who it is, etc as that will encourage it to stay.

Berz, while your advice is good, I think it is too late to try the ignoring method, it sounds like Queen has already tried contacting it, so it already knows that she knows!

Therefore, tell it to "leave you in peace". I've done this and trust me, it does work.

I'll send you an email Queen.

p.s. Berz what are you doing with your gift? You know you're not schizo, so would you ever take up mediumship full-time? Are you friends with any other psychics? I'm just being nosey!

Teri, Berz, and PAS, Thank you all, so much for your advice and guidance. Pas made a really obvious statement, that I over the course of this, have never noticed until now. Pas, you said something about the increase in energy, if you will, and how this almost excites the activity. Meaning mood-energy, being sad, curious; taking notice, angry, ect. Over the course of this, every single time now that I really think about it, I have been feeling one way or the other. Not necessarily, over the specific paranormal event I may encounter, but it seems to feed of the mood i'm currently in. I've always taken obvious notice to any occurances I would feel, and now realize it must have almost been 'performing' if you will, to let me know, it knew I had noticed. Like Berz advised, I guess to kind of act oblivious to the fact they are there, would stop the act. I'm glad also that you touched on the subject of a Ouija board. When the activity got more noticeable, I purchased a new one, b/c I couldn't find my old one. I used it once or twice, but felt that the board needed to become famiar with the home, so I put it away. Nothing eventful happen while using it, And I wasn't on it for very long. But now that I think about it, things didn't start to get so obvious until after I had brought it home. I have 2 black cats; Romeo and Juliette, and they have never acted 'meanly' towards anything, but have stared off into space a few times, almost like Teri said, they seem to be following something, always late at night. Romeo, went on this 'playing spree' right in front of me in the living room the other night, jumping in the air, and rolling around on the floor. He is usually a pretty lazy cat, so this surprised me. But at the time I didn't think anything of it. I will take yall's advice though, and keep a closer eye on this. Unfortunately PAS, I tend to live the lifestlye to completely provide the perfect energy zone in my home. I am constantly burning candles- (any kind but I am a HUGE yankee candle buyer) colors are mostly black, brown, yellow, orange, and white. Black being mostly an aeromatic smell, Browns are always a chocolate smell of some sort, the yellows are always vanilla, sugar cookie, or some sweet smell. The oranges will be pumpkin spice, any kind of spice or cinnamon scent, and sometimes 'banana nut bread', another sweet one. The whites I usually burn are usually gardenia, or some light clean smell. I am an everlasting lover of the harvest time of year, and burn scents that remind me of that time of year, all year long.
I also am a huge fan of inscence, usually burning 3-4 times a week. I have so many favorite scents, I wont name them all. I keep my home pretty dark, (especially the living area and my bedroom) as I am not really a fan of 'natural light v.s fire flame light or false light' and prefer the soft glow of a candle or dim lit lamp, than the bright white light of the outdoors. I would never call myself a psychic or medium, but have dealt with being slightly telepathic my entire life. Never doing anything to really increase my ability, just living with it and knowing that my sixth sense is always there.

I will definately keep ya'll updated and let you know what shadowlands says. I have a really good friend of mine who just recently met this guy she's been seeing, and he has just been anointed as some type of 'preist' in an 'animal magick' kind of wicca. Unfortunately I don't know much about it, but he evidently has shared with my friend, that he has the ability to 'sense a home'. Which I guess would mean to, basically come over here and tell me what he feels from the home. I will also let you know what happens with that. If you like also, I could keep you updated on all that goes on. I want to know more about ya'lls experiences, if you wouldn't mind sharing them with me. If you prefer, you could e-mail me privately, and I swear it will remain that way. It's just nice to finally speak to people that understand where i'm coming from on this! PAS, if you wouldnt mind, I would love to learn more about you and your abilites, and how you better developed your senses. I'm in the learning stages, and am looking for a 'teacher' if you will, to show me the right path to learn to highten my abilities. Again, feel free to e-mail me.

Thank you all again so much for your time to read this, and the original post. It means allot, that you gave me that time =)

I have seen ghosts since I was a little boy.

Nothing as serious as the sixth sense, but I can hear and feel them
all the time.

My psychiatrists think I'm schizo because I see things that aren't there.

Anywhoo.. PAS is right about the ouija board.. avoid that!

And the best way to relieve yourself of any spirit is to ignore the fact that
it is there.. DO NOT talk about it in the house. DO NOT speak to it!

If the entity is aware that you are aware of it, then it will continue to attempt
contacting you.

p.p.s. Whatever you do, DO NOT be tempted into using a Ouija board. I appreciate you may be feeling curious and want to know 'who' is haunting you but a decent medium would be able to tell you this. They would need to visit your home to do so, I doubt they could do it over the phone or from a distance.

Using a Ouija board will only *encourage* spirits who are nearby to make contact with you. Just as there are good people and bad people alive in this world, your personality does not change when you die, therefore there are good spirits and bad spirits, mischievous spirits etc

Trust me, a oujja board will INCREASE paranormal activity and could attract bad/evil spirits to your home. Only someone who knows what they are doing and how to protect themselves should use one of these, as for me I never have and never will, my nan told me about the dangers of them and I've heard too many horror stories.

p.s. Have read other comments, Teri's advice is pretty spot-on.

As for 'who' is haunting you, you may never find out. It may be your nan, it may be multiple spirits. If your nan was at all a believer in the supernatural and at any time you feel you need help or are scared by this paranormal activity I suggest you call on her for help, she may be able to get the spirits to leave. If you believe in God or Jesus or Mohammad or whoever, calling on them for help *will* help. If you pray, then pray for help and for the spirits to leave in peace.

What I should try to explain to you, is that when people die their spirits live on and move into the spirit realm, away from the earth (we are talking about a fourth dimension, which is not proven to exist but that is where they go. Some people call it Heaven/paradise, etc).

However, some dead people make the conscious choice to stay on the earth, it may be there is something unresolved they wanted to deal with or they may have died as a result of an accident and not even realise they are dead - they see the world and objects in the environment differently to us. Have you seen the film 'The Others'? If you have then the ending will make sense to you, it can be like that.

Whatever their reason is for hanging around I need to stress this - they should not be here scaring the living! Dead people 'coming through' to mediums in church or on TV shows is one thing (they want to pass on messages to loved ones and they pop back to the earth realm for that specific reason, and then go back to 'heaven' again) but paranormal activity in someones home is another thing. They are trespassing on your space, so you need to encourage them to go into the spirit realm by telling them out loud to "go towards the light, leave you in peace, may God go with them" etc (you can leave out the God part if you don't believe in God).

'The light' you are telling them to move towards is the opening to 'heaven', this is why you are telling them to go there, as this will take them away from the earth plane and away from your home.

When people have had near death experiences they often report that they saw a white bright light and felt at peace, this is what happens when you die and it is nothing to be afraid about and perfectly natural.

More advice: If you decide to consult a medium near where you live (not the people at shadowlands) then they should only charge you money to reimburse any expenses they have incurred helping you and/or for you to give them money for their time that you feel is appropriate i.e. hourly rate. People should not try to make a fortune out of their psychic abilities and those that try this often end up losing their skills. It is about helping people not making a mint out of misfortune. A honest medium will not rip you off, and if they try to they are probably a fraud. So if you contact one discuss upfront expenses and/or payment. If it sounds like a reasonable fee to you that is a good sign. Ask what experience they have and try to check up on their history or contact people they claim to have helped.

Hope what I have said has made some sense to you. Tell me what the people at shadowlands.net say when you get a reply, I want to know how close I am to the 'truth'.

Don't have nightmares!

I buuuhlieve in Gaaaawd <Tenacious D>

:o)

I'm a bit of a joker but now I have your attention here is my opinion. You may not think my advice is any more relevant than anyone elses, but I was brought up as a spiritualist. My dad, uncle, nan and grandad were all mediums and would pass on messages from the spirit world at church, my whole family is quite psychic so my advice is based on quite a bit of experience.

The first thing to remember is that ghosts are just the spirits of people who have died. They shouldn't be feared any more than you would fear someone walking in the same street as you. That is the most important thing - do not be afraid. Children and animals are 'more' sensitive to paranormal activity than adults because their minds are open to the other-worldy. Most adults have consciously or unconsciously closed their receptiveness to the supernatural because they have had years of people telling them such things do not exist. We do not live in a society where life after death is believed in by the majority, it is not a given. Therefore childrens eyes are 'open' when most adults eyes are closed, but we can learn to open them again.

Queen, in my opinion you need to help the ghost(s) depart from the earth plane. Instead of offering to 'share' the house you need to be suggesting to the spirit(s) that they "go towards the light" and "leave you in peace". You should say this aloud any time you sense their presence and whenever anything paranormal occurs. I suggest having lots of household plants in each room for the positive energy they give out. Other objects which are believed to help brighten the energy in a room are white candles, incense, ringing a bell and wind chimes. You don't have to bother with those if you think that sounds a bit mumbojumbo. However I know from experience that the following helps: if there are any religious objects that you believe in or which mean something to you, you should try to have one in each room. This doesn't have to be a crucifix, it can be a buddha or whatever you have some faith in. These will help to protect your home and decrease paranormal activity.

I don't have time to give you all the answers as to why paranormal activity occurs or why humans live on after their death and besides, the answers I have make sense to me but may mean nothing to others, for each individual it can take something different or personal to 'convince' them that life after death exists.

It is good that you have looked for rational explanations for each activity, you should not allow anything out of the ordinary to frighten you and you should explore every rational possibility before blaming events on something 'supernatural'. Once you have experienced something out of the ordinary it is all to easy to ascribe something different to 'ghosts' - do not make them a scapegoat, keep a clear and rational mind and above all else, do not be afraid of them - they have no power over you or your family unless you let them.

It is important to try to keep your environment as positive as possible because like is attracted to like. Bad energy or negative vibes can attract similar so this may be why you have experienced paranormal activity when crying or arguing.

I hope the people at theshadowlands.net are able to help you and offer good advice.

I would say that after trying all the above, if activity doesn't cease you could consider getting in a priest to bless the house or a reputable medium (reputable being the operative word - there are many charlatans out there). Whatever you try, so long as you BELIEVE in it, it will have a good chance of working.

As for taking me at my word - I have nothing to gain from giving you bad advice, what I have said is as true as I know it. I'm 25, have been coming on Ubersite since October 2002, live in the UK and my fiance is atheist and a non-believer! I work as an accountant and am no wacky than anybody else.

If you have any more questions feel free to email me. Post updates on Uber so we know how you get on.

I think you have a case of dumbass-disease. Your house is a piece of shit. Ghosts aren't real. Case closed.

Or then again maybe it was Bigfoot or Santa Claus playing a joke on you?

Damn ... I shouldn't have read this at three in the morning with all the lights out.

Have you noticed any abnormal behavior from your cat? From the stories I've heard, it seems like children are sensitive to this kind of thing, but they don't know how to word it or to express the vibes they get from it. Pets can act real strange though. Sometimes they constantly stare at a fixed point or seem to be watching something move around the house. If anything happens again, check your cat and see if it's hissing and being hostile to 'it'. If it does, get out of that area and perhaps leave the house for a bit. If the cat just stares curiously for a bit and doesn't really do anything, then 'it' would probably be an old family member or friend.

The general theory that my friends and I share is that 'it' won't do anything to you if you've done nothing to 'it'. Sometimes it could be so simple as to putting something in the wrong place or to uproot a favorite tree of theirs. I'd suggest looking up the history of your house since it was built. Mark down some of the things that tend to happen more often and cross-reference it to habits known from past occupants. If it's a stray that followed you when you moved, try getting a priest or a repersentative of some religion to come by and bless the house or do a little cleansing.

If something freaky's happening real close to you, try closing your eyes and saying something along the lines of, "Please don't disturb me. I'm sorry if I've done anything against you." That's worked for me a few times.

A lot of scientific explanations for the paranormal are similar to shifts in the Earth's plates, causing magnetic differences and affecting metallic objects or something like that. They also explain orbs or flashes of light with flammable gases that may have leaked from the house's pipes or methane from the sewers.

That's about all I can say from your post.
Please be gentle with the flaming
Teri
