now that's just plain lame! the Rail used to be one of the cooler places to hang out... sad what it turned into.
the Delta Chis and TKEs were the big ones back in my day, both sucked ass... literally probably. doesn't sound like they've changed much... the TKEs burned their freakin house down- idiots left candles burning over night or some shit.
the cops in that town used to have more money than they knew what to do with... hence the brand new station large enough for a city the size of Brookfield... I guarantee there's at least a few bricks or a toilet in that building that I paid for. and I think it was more the campus security that dished out the $50 tickets for parking in the wrong lot. parking was always such a bitch... the infamous Lot 9 was the only one you could get permits for.
thanks for the invite, but I'm more than happy living out west these days- winters are SO much nicer. I remember back one time when there was -55 wind chills and those fuckers kept classes open all week... not that anybody went... but yeah, those were the days.
I remembered your Whitewater post a while back, but I wasn't an official member at the time. anyway, I could get into more stories, but I probably shouldn't incriminate myself.

The Huddle was busted about...probably 4 years ago...for selling coke. They obviously got shut down. Denny K's is still around, but not very popular. When you were here, was there Coyote Grill, The Boar or Pumpers and Mitchells?

I knew Coyote Grill was one of the newer ones, just didn't know if it was open while you were here. They seem to take over the atmosphere of what you describe with the Brass Rail. They have burgers and other stuff, but it's really pretty good. Nice to have a drink and dinner sometimes. :)
The Brass Rail is still around, though it is nutoriously known as "the bar for the drama people." All the people who spend their days in the CA are found at the Brass Rail. If you aren't in plays/musicals you would feel really out of place there. Due to this, it has also kind of doubled as a gay bar ;) :p (mainly for the guys who are in plays/musicals).
Parking ticket fines have gone down to $10, but they are total assholes about ticketing now (especially downtown). In terms of fraternities, there were plenty here when I started. Let's see...there was Tau Kappa Epsilon, Lambda Chi, Delta Chi, Pi Kappa Alpha and one more that's slipping my mind. Anyway...my freshman year, TKEs were suspended because they were slipping date rape into girls drinks; my sophomore year, Lambda Chi got busted serving alcohol to under-agers (no shit) and Delta Chi got slapped with the same thing, plus dealing drugs. So really, we only have one frat now. It's safe to come back. :p

Yes, well then it would need to be an eight-legged calf because if a wing formed between the two legs on the one shoulder, that wouldn't help them fly. They'd need two wings. And therefore they'd need an additional 2 legs on the opposite shoulder so they would evolve into wings. :)

I know that is the normal human reaction. Objectively, as long as the deformities are not causing the animal pain, assuming that reality is all the animal knows, the animal may actually be quite content. It is only the oddity our brains perceive that makes the animal grotesque.

The two-legged walking dog is alive. As is the two-headed python, the two-tongued cat and the six-legged calf.
The rest are dead or it's unknown if they lived. The two-faced kitty lived for a few days before dying.
For some reason I'm thinking the eight-legged cat might be alive too. Meh, whatever.
