College, with IBG on my ass for collecting months of student aid while not doing anything at all.

Would you really say the Dutch Political system is that corrupt? US, sure, former soviet countries, I'm fucking certain, but the parties in Holland don't differ very much on most counts. why would anyone be corrupt if it's all the same?

***************

Whoo, the IBG.... I rather face the irs and social services ensemble on monday morning...
A good indicator of corruptness, i hardly ever met any student, who didn't got into serious discussion with that 'social service'...
On the other hand, i have to agree, that corruption/creative bookkeeping has come forth from the neccessity of us (the population), to operate on a corporate level.

If i may believe my beautyfull country's politicians, i should be a perfect bookkeeper, maid, cook, employee, tax consultant, socialist, polite person, politician and last but not least ultimately patient.

Most people don't manage that, not even in a strategic alliance.(marriage and such)
Modern day life is a crappy reference to impossible standards...

(and i am ranting, sorry...)

Yeah, the corruption is so deeply impregnated, we don't even notice it anymore.
In the old days, there were 'kruiwagens', just corruption on a personal level.
Nowadays we have managers, judges with no (relevant) knowledge, we have judges, who
have no idea what they are judging, there are people in our government, suspected of
participating in a pogrom. Some of our prime ministers have been caught on rightout lying...

It's not just a jungle out there... It's a zoo without proper cages. And our greatest virtue as mankind (currently so essential!), is going totally down the drain...
And last but not least ; we all are going backwards in income, how can they motivate a 30% income raise for themselves? because it needs to be on corporate levels? we both now the next step; corporate salaries being lifted up to 'government standards', andsoforth...

We're almost squeezed empty, let the deluge commence! (probably literaly)

(quits ranting,here... Considering not to press enter..)

Btw; what direction are you studying ? I'm into electronics and that kinda stuff.

Yeah, the only way to get some peace and quiet, is probably movin' off the planet....
Hmmm, that's not gonna work, i guess.

And the last time i voted that animal-party, for i was quite convinced a monkey can do a better job, then what's currently presented to us as a 'government', just couldn't take that voting seriously anymore... What a corrupted bullshit-show...

And i have still to meet the 1st animal capable of lying, if you don't count the snake from the bible's paradise... All in all, i don't understand shit of politics. But i Do know, that the present might be the worse times i ever encountered.
(for the record; i just got jobless, right after moving to a house with twice the rent.comfort=ok, but it would be nice to eat and be able to sleep...)

Hope you're doin' better then that?

I think most countries are as uptight as ours, man. I'm not sure about Iceland, though.

You know it's just as bad in the US, if you check out most of the posts on this site.

What did you vote?

It's just an expression, man.

One of my mayor errors; distinguishing those.... And ya, i can imagine, i have the opposite, winter has a tendency to make me go into hybernation. But leaving this madhouse isn't such a bad choice, not even for the rising temperatures, but more for the rising tension in this country. If i had the option, i would start over in another place. Lucky you, if you have the option. greetz..

Avoiding the heat. My blood's too thick for summers. I actually spend more time outside in the winter than during the summer.
Hey, Dutchman to Dutchman, don't you think it's getting warmer each year? I think 2006 was a record year on temperature highs...
I'm moving to Norway, man.

(To me) It doesn't feel like it's getting warmer, but it's almost like the winter disappeared. Not bad to me, i like summers, and dislike winters. A friend of mine moved to Sweden, and looks to be doing well. Never been to any of the scandinavian country's myself. Should do that... (makes mental note) Also no idea about thick blood; is that high blood pressure?
