I try not to be the religious guy on uber, but damn, I think it's necessary to post one page for prayer for the families.
I don't give a fuck what religion, but just keep them in your prayers tonight.

Why pray for them, even if I was religious?
why them and not the thousands of people that die every single day? why the fuck would I pray for some americans I've never met rather than the families of the people in the car crash I saw the other day? what is it that makes these people special beaver? why do they deserve prayer when others don't?

I was listening to the radio on the way into work this morning and I had to turn the fucking station after all these people were calling in talking about how this event is the most poigniant moment of their life (I live in Boston) or how they're praying for the families, god has a plan.
WTF people. Thousands die everyday from senseless violence, they just don't happen to be American College kids

I go to Virginia Tech and as an engineer I was near there when it happened. My condolences go out to the families of the victims and the victims themselves, but as terrible as it sounds, I care more about the longer weekend I'm going to have.

Nobody's telling you not to pray for some dude on a motorcycle who wipes out going 95 on the highway. Nobody's telling you not to pray for Iraqis. Nobody's telling you not to do shit. Pray for every single person who dies every single day if it really bothers you, scumbag.
You people comment on the uselessness of prayer, but you dont understand it even a little bit. Bite my ass, shithead. This isn't the magic ring you're throwing into the river of lava, you piece of shit, you can let go of one little prayer for one person anytime you feel like. Just because you wont pray for everybody doesn't mean you need to pray for nobody.

Where is the outrage and prayer for all the innocent Iraqi's that die everyday due to an unwinnable war. Don't get me wrong this is a tradgedy and I feel for the families, but we as Americans seem very selective in our grief sometimes.

It doesn't do the family any good to have this posted. If it gets enough responses one of the family members might see it, and for their sake they shouldn't see anything on this site in regards to the incident. Even as good as the whole Hannah thing was, the family would have been horrified if they had to see some of the stuff on this site regarding her. For every "nice" post, we have 5 "mean" posts because that's just the nature of ubersite. While we'll chip in and say nice things and wish the best to people during moments of tragedy, we need to be able to laugh about it as well to cope with it, and seeing this in no way helps members of disasters. Let them see their prayers and best wishes elsewhere, because it's in their best interest to never come here.
