Below I highlight what this post is about as if the title doesn't make it clear enough:
April 28th 2007 is National Impeachment day in the good ol' US of A.
10 states have proposed resolutions to impeach and a further 6 have introduced resolutions to impeach ! (and I don't even know what a 'resolution' looks like)

Nancy Pelosi declared on national television "impeachment is off the table." Impeachment, it seems, is too divisive for a 2008-oriented Democratic Party leadership and will interfere with the business of Congress over the next two years.
The Democrats seem to be giving a pardon to Bush and Cheney without even having a trial. Impeachment is the people's option to end corrupt government. According to the Lancet Medical Journal 650,000 civilians have died in Iraq since the start of the US invasion. US aerial bombing in civilian neighborhoods have caused over a third of these deaths including whole families—children, grandparents, moms and dads.

I strongly believe that GW Bush and his cronies have lied to the US public and the public around the world on issues of clear importance to global peace and harmony.

That lancet study is a joke.
It sources have been questioned in the past and since the creators of the study have refused to release that raw data i washed my hands of the study, but it looks like the statistics they used in the study were wrong as well.

Michelle Malkin may be full of hot air a lot, but the review of the study is shown in full on her site and is worth looking at if you really want to understand the numbers lancet is throwing at you.

Much of the math here is mind-numbingly complicated, but Kane's bottom line is simple: the Lancet authors "cannot reject the null hypothesis that mortality in Iraq is unchanged." Translation: according to Kane, the confidence interval for the Lancet authors' main finding is wrong. Had the authors calculated the confidence interval correctly, Kane asserts that they would have failed to identify a statistically significant increase in risk of death in Iraq, let alone the widely-reported 98,000 excess civilian deaths."

You are an idiot. Reason number 1) Dick would be in charge - there is no way the Dems would ever even manage to push through a double impeachment. Reason number 2) Bush (or his VP for that matter) hasn't actually committed any "high crime or misdemenor," sure, he might piss you off, but that is really just because you are ignorant. Lastly, Resolutions do jack shit. Trust I have seen plenty (and actually written a few). All they really are is a statement of joint feeling by a group of people or a recomendation on how a future assembly should act.
