4chan doesn't have any writing. The text boards (at least it seems to me) are just for discussion. Yes, there's a lot of shit here, but if you weed through it you'll still find some decent fiction, commentary, poitical discussion, poetry, etc... 4chan doesn't really serve this purpose.
Plus I don't like clicking a link at work and accidentally getting a picture of a little anime girl getting raped by a dog, or something worse.

well all I post is reposts of stuff from 4chan, I haven't posted anything original in over 2 years because I realized I'm not that intelligent or clever, everyone else on ubersite should follow my example, people on this site are always trying to make a name for themselves, like that cocksucker razor with his ripped off spiderman post trying to whore it out on digg, way too much cocksucking goes on, with 4chan nobody is trying to get recognition for anything, so there's not nearly as much lame shit on there, the down side is some of the nasty shit on there, but really its just a fraction of a percent of the entire site

4chan has some funny bits to it, and ubersite - i think - has BECOME a diluted version of sites like 4chan, because of the pandering to the lowest common internet denominator. this is not to say that i think uber should be a 'serious writers forum' (admittedly, i foolishly once did) - it just used to be much more interesting to read before people started lablleling themselves and the shit they do so much around here.
the sad truth is that the longer i read uber, the better pff's posts look - to the point he is now one of the most entertaining people on the site, and that is a sad indictment upon the state that this particular website i think has 'sunk' to.
