Some have said Maddox is losing it. They are right. He has simply run out of things to say. His latest confirms it and bangs the nail into the coffin:

OK, you may agree with him, but personally, I was really unimpressed. It is nothing like the stuff that got him giggles and agreement across the world.

Maybe it would be a good idea to stop copying him now.

I have tired quickly of Maddox's site. It was fun to look at for a little while, but it didn't entertain me that much. Obviously that's just my opinion, as his site is still viewed and talked about by so many people, shown by the replies on this post.
I'm kind of tired of seeing his name on this site all the time, but I guess it's something I'll have to put up with, coz it's going to stay. It makes me wonder why I even clicked to read this post. My stupidity astounds me sometimes.
I do like the photoshop image though.

to be honest, i totally agree, but he lost it a while ago, i stopped going after about a month of going every once and a while. what i hate more is the fact that some people consider him to be some kind of god for lack of a better word that he's hilarious. fuck, all he does is make stupid observations about unimportant things like we all do and post about. true he can be funny, but it just sounds like the very stuff he complains about to me.

Neh, he's a writer of sorts, and it's tought to come up with something really funny or controversial all the time. The Bomb Iran article was brilliant, one of his best, and wasn't too long ago. If you read his REALLY old stuff it's awful, he's gotten much better and still has plenty of room to stay humorous.

OK, maybe the car thing was funny. I've never been into the macho car-loving thing. Maybe that's why I was so unimpressed. It's like a girl complaining about the recent brands of makeup on the market. But if most people like it, OK, it's funny. He's resurrected.

Maddox writes some great stuff and, being human, also some so-so stuff (especially recently).
Here's a curiosity: stuff he himself wrote but then decided wasn't quite good enough and so commented out in his source code (which means writing stuff <!-- like this --> ) plus the occasional comment to the reader.

guys, he's a person, not a idol. nobody said that you had to agree with everything (if anything) that he says. i for one thought his matrix reloaded thing was kinda pessimistic. but his work is usually entertaining enough.
don't judge a person by their website.
if you don't like something he says, just leave it alone. if you choose to not like his site at all anymore, then it's YOUR loss, not his. it doesnt mean he'll never say anything you like again. it's like a bad movie; there will be a better one later.
besides, maddox.xmission.com is the single most entertaining *personal* website there is. i challenge you to find/make one better.
