I think it was last spring that one had decided to lay her eggs in one of those huge concrete planters outside a mall entrance. They had to call animal control to relocate her, she wouldn't let anyone get near the entrance because it was so close to the nest.

Susie- I live in PA, and we have lots here in the area where I work, not far from a park. Traffic stops when the little families have to cross the street at rush hour. It's adorably frustrating in traffic.

Sico- I like that picture a lot. I'm a sucker for sunlight through trees.
scourge- you wouldn't believe how many rainbow pics I looked at. I can barely explain why i chose the one i did; my eyes were bleeding.
It always amazes me how random photos can be so hard to find when I'm looking. For instance, for the life of me, I could not find a white dogwood tree that suited me.
