If you've always wanted to play a game like Warhammer but are too cheap to pay for it all, Brikwars is for you.

Brikwars is a strategy game that is designed for Lego and other types of bricks. It's also compatable with plastic army men or anything else you can conjure up. The game is simple, you destroy your opponents or work towards a specific objective. Its rulebook includes all the information you need to play the game, and you can play with as much or as little detail as you like.

There's also Quikwars, a simplified version of Brikwars. You can find both versions of the game here: http://www.brikwars.com

I don't know...I guess this is a good idea. When I was younger and played Warhammer, half of the fun was saving up enough money to buy/build your own army. I spent hours on the custom paint and detail that went into my figures. With out that, I just don't see the game being that enjoyable. I will agree that it is this is a more affordable method of playing the game...but you would have had to buy the legos to begin with right? Good post...bad idea in my opinion.
