I have those! I have Joey Ramone and Misfits dolls, too. (The Misfits ones are the best; they're fully articulated and you can remove their clothes and put Barbie clothes on.) Anybody who's ever watched "The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle" wouldn't be surprised about the merchandising of the Sex Pistols. They may have been punk, but they never made a secret of the fact that they were as pre-fab as the Monkees.

You'll notice that the real Sid Vicious' bass wasn't plugged into anything either. They have a variety of these action figures at the gag shop near my office. My favourites are The Lunchlady, Edgar Allen Poe, Crazy Cat Lady, Jesus, Carl Jung and Van Gogh.
