I'm 28. I turn 29 next April.
...all this talk of getting older and acknowledging one's age as a milestone or anything outside of being a simple two-digit number (ok maybe single digit if your name is Habeeb) is honestly causing a bit of internal struggle.
I don't mean the kind of internal struggle that takes place when I eat an especially greasy meal - I mean the kind of struggle that wars between:
1. YOUR valuation system and...
2. MY valuation system
Simply put, what you give a fuck about and what I give a fuck about are just about ALWAYS going to be two totally different things. See, you care whether or not you have wrinkles, can still get laid by a girl who doesn't have stretch marks, can dart up 6 flights of stairs without passing out or whether or not you're as 'accomplished' as others your age.
Caul writes computer code in COBOL and talks shit on the internats all day. He would tell you his life is so fucking awesome it's almost surreal.
Sicosemen plays with his pubic hairs while sitting in a plastic chair at some factory in Texas yet when pressed, our favorite fan of toilet humor would proudly state that his life is damn brilliant.
Rob Berg is probably a little less hard on himself re: his age (I deduce this from his recent writings and overall demeanor) yet for some reason he can't grasp the fact that nothing on Ubersite matters outside of...Ubersite. Again, valuations.
Maltese spends 98% of his waking life on the internet searching for the next thrill gotten from pissing off people he'll never win the approval of or even meet. Yet he somehow finds a reason to get up in the morning, fix his bowl of Kix and stay the course.
Foolproof has $40k in savings, a lucrative career and quite the ability to create comical representations of other people on this website. Yet, the man is miserably lost when it comes to spirituality and religion and for that I pity him. But, upon investigation Foolproof would tell you his life is quite worth living.
Bart can't get a job and refuses to pay me any attention which is quite alright considering I told him to fuck off at least a dozen times. Even in his life there are things to envy.
...so I guess the point I'm making here is that regardless of how old you are or what issues you are or are not dealing with in life, it's all about perspective. How you think about your life and what you're making of it determines DIRECTLY the level of happiness you experience in living.

Well...I'm 28. I'll be 29 in April. I drive a 10 year old Honda, still rent, get to ride an awesome bike on some awesome trails at least a few times a week, am currently fucking a gorgeous woman and am looking forward to keeping this up until it doesn't make sense to anymore.

You are correct.
I care very little about age - I find it funny when people get bent out of shape about such things. I have never dreaded a birthday in my life... heck, I haven't actually been excited about one since my 18th. The galactic hangover I had the next day certainly dampens the enthusiasm for that particular event.
I am happy, generally speaking. I am aware of my relative level of awesome and appreciate the same in other people.
As far as the relevance of this site?

You don't deserve half of the shit you catch around here - but the other half is quite well earned.
I have always found you to be rather interesting - and in my world that is the highest of compliments. You may induce the odd cringe at times and seriously some of the shit you throw out there is excruciatingly painful to witness - but at the end of the day I think yer a good kid with a quick temper and a tenacious belligerence unmatched by most people I have ever encountered.
Anyway - I think in order for you to be happy you need to remove yourself from the negative energy you receive from this particular website. Sacrilicious makes a good point (however passive aggressive) and I certainly know the answer to her question and you do as well. It's tough to trade in 'celebrity' - especially since you have sacrificed so much to establish notoriety around this dump... but wallowing in the projected misery Ubersite has to offer you will only further tarnish your soul - however immediately 'exciting' it might be.

Pontiac GTFO's were the fucking tits in the early 70's. This newer model they made for about 4 years was pretty fucking swell too. Anyone know why they stopped making them?
