In this context:
about = approximately, probably
right = correct, accurate
now = now
It's your bizarre Canadian intonation that's doing it.
The emphasis should be on these two syllables: aBOUT RIGHT now. This would be more so if I had used the word "reckon" in the sentence ahead of this part, but I didn't, I used "think", so the emphasis would be more subdued.
