I've been watching the news a lot lately. And from what I've seen things are not looking good for mankind. Now I know you can't believe everything you hear on the news and I know they don't report on everything. Be that as it may, there is still some bad shit going down in the world right now.
Have you ever had a feeling of impending doom? You know just a sneaking suspicion that something really bad was going to happen. That's the way I feel right now, I've felt that way for a while now. And it doesn't seem like the feeling is going to go away anytime soon.
In just five days Hamas has taken over nearly half of the Gaza Strip. The Sunnis and Shiites in Iraq are still tearing each other to pieces on a daily basis. The al-Askariya mosque is nothing more than a smoldering pile of rubble. Attacks on American troops have increased and the death toll as of June 15, 2007 was at least 3,250. And there's no telling how many Iraqi civilians have been killed so far. It's estimated to be in the 10's of thousands.
The people of the Middle East are bat shit crazy, plain and simple. They're not going to stop attacking us until we leave. Odds are if we don't leave soon they'll take the fight over seas and start fuckin with us on our own turf. Think about, do you really think there is anything preventing someone from driving a van into a Wal-Mart in Anytown, America and letting off a fuckin chlorine bomb? You don't? Good, because there isn't.
The system that has "worked" since the founding of the United States is failing, and it's failing fast. We have a president that is blatantly going against the will of the people and a Congress and Senate that won't do anything about it, and cave to his will no less.
I'm sitting on an Army base in Iraq right now and I'll tell you what, shit is not getting better out here. It gets worse every fucking day, and the sooner I make it back to the states and start arming myself, the better. Something big is coming folks. I don't know what it is or where it's going to happen, but make my words it will happen.
I'm going to get a few AR-15's and build a compound out in woods of West Virginia... or maybe somewhere in the wilderness of Australia, any one that wants to save thier ass is more than welcome to join me.
Start getting prepared now, because I think we might be fucked.....

It's hard to say what's going to happen in the future, but things dont seem to be getting better.
I heard a poll a while ago that said that almost 3/4s of Americans thought that things were getting worse in the world. That is easily the highest number for that type of poll that I remember seeing.
It seems a lot of people are sensing this, not just you.
I'm not going to predict the apocalypse, but it does seem that multiple long term problems are starting to catch up to us, and there is a pretty good chance things will get worse in the next couple decades.
