They want to kill my dog Moolie! An Italian Mastiff a.k.a. Cane (Kan-e) Corso well over 150lbs.
A mastiff isn't like a rottweiler or a pit bull. They're excellent guard dogs but they think they are a lap dog. He's so big that he is lazy (heh, perfect dog for me) yet has a bark that will send shivers down your spine. If there is something wrong, he's active as anything until it's over then he eats and sleeps for 12 hours.
Moolie is VERY protective of my baby. My daughter rides him like a horse, pulls his tail, bites his ears, tortures the dog. Yet he never leaves. When I keep him away from her, he barks and crys to go near her only to be tortured. It seems that he likes the abuse from the baby, it's the only explaination. He'll stay tied up to the tree with no problems yet when he sees her his face lights up, pointed (cut) ears perk up and he crys to be ridden and tortured.
My asshole neighbor was yelling at all of my kids because of the noise. Normal yelling I can understand, but yelling at a 3 year old with your finger in her face is just wrong. It's not just me who thinks so, Moolie thinks the same way.
The neighbor is leaning over our fence to hell at my baby. Finger in her face, top of her lungs yelling. Moolie not knowing any better thought she was a threat, rightly so because my baby was crying. The other kids go to get their mom, the maid who speaks broken english starts to scream "MOOLIE! NO! NO! NO!"
150+ pounds of pure muscle leaps over the 6' tall steel fence (bars).
Moolie jumped the fence with one kid in tow, holding on to his leash. The neighbor is flat on his back, Moolie in the power position slobering all over him and then he lets out WOOF! WOOF! To let me/us know he stopped him.
Mastiffs do not bite. They will corner or knock down an attacker first, if that does not work, they will swollow you.
From the bark I knew something was wrong, this wasn't the normal bark. I run in the back yard, call Moolie and I see my wife holding the baby and the maid screaming at Moolie. I thought the dog ate my baby. I see Moolie ontop of the neighbor waging his tail and the neighbor screaming. I open the gate, get my dog and ask if the neighbor is OK. No bite, no blood, no problem. "Dude, don't yell at my fucking kids espically in my fucking yard. You're lucky to be alive!" I have Moolie by the collar and start to walk away. Moolie is still wagging his tail because he knows he protected the house & family. I rub his head, "Good baby! That's my special boy! (Dr. Evil)"
As I open the gate, I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn around and the neighbor is yelling at me and I never got a chance to make out what he was saying. Moolie jumped him, knocked him to the ground and bit him right on his collar bone, below his neck closer to his chest and is growling and giving a few tugs. Neighbor screaming. Me panicking. Moolie thinking he is going the right thing tugs more and then I had to grab his mouth and he instantly let go. Moolie is happy as can be, but I let him know he was wrong and he ran in the back under his tree.
Five minutes later cops at the door, animal control at the door and it was a total circus. I stood with the neighbor, called the ambulance talked to the cops and there are 20 people who saw what happened. They all said that the man grabbed me then the dog jumped. My maid, children and one other neighbor said they seen him yell at the kids.
My dog is currently being "detained" for testing and to see if he is agressive. The woman at animal control told me that "Usually dangerous breeds like this are put down." Dangerous breed? he was protecting! He was doing his fucking job! I called my lawyer, he doesn't do this sort of thing.
Money is currently not an issue. I don't care what it costs, what I have to do, I want my fucking animal back. This is the first day without Moolie, kids are sick, I want to cry, maid is happy because he'd follow her arround and tug on her skirt to piss her off.
I WANT TO GET MY FUCKING DOG BACK!
Yes, I agreed to pay all bills from the bite. I will also pay for any psychological problems and treatment. This dog is as close to a bear/lion as you can get.
One lawyer told me that if the "victim" plays nice the dog will have a 75% better chance of getting out.
Do I try to be the nice guy? Do I have the lawyer try and make an offer for him to be nice?
Currently the police said that he can't really sue me because he did grab me and the dog did have a leash on.

1. Keep your dog under control. Yeah, he was guarding you from a vicious talking to by biting a man in the collar bone because you are so incapable of actually communicating back to a person.
2. Offer them the oppurtunity to euthanize you with/instead of your dog. And when I say euthanize I mean beat you repeatedly in the head with a lead pipe and/or a medieval flail until you are no longer a nuisance to society.

As a dog owner and dog lover, I think it should be illegal to own dogs over, say, 80 pounds _as a pet_. If a dog that size goes off, it's gonna do some damage. A dog is a dog. Under the right circumstances, a dog can go off on someone other than its owner.
Dog owners that say "not my dog - no way - that could never happen in a million years" are only kidding themselves.

Over 80lbs? This is fucking weight/size again! A small dog can tear up child too. An Italian Mastiff is a working breed, just like the Doberman and the Rottweiler. Only bigger and more playful. Mastiffs are not attackers like Dobies, Rotts, Pits, they knock down first. Do some reading and you'll see that Mastiffs have an instinct to knock a person down rather then bite. They only bite when there is a serious threat.
Moolie knocked him down once. Then when he seen physical contact, he protected his master the only way he could. I don't know if a dog is capable of thought but it makes sense. I knocked him down once and now he is fucking with my master, time to eat him.

I hope for your sake your dog is released. I hate it when a dog is destroyed when it is mearly protecting. And not even in a vicious sense.
Mastiffs are great dogs. Great big fucking slabs of dogs.
I have a Roman Nosed Bull Terrier. She is completely white and if anything happened to her I would die.

He yelled at my daughter thru an iron gate. He was on his property when the dog first jumped the gate.
He was on my property when he grabbed my shoulder and turned me around. Dog bit/attacked on my property.
Police didn't take note when Moolie jumped the gate, because nothing happened. Typical Mastiff knocking a person down, no harm no foul. Police did note the bite.
ALL neighbors seen the shoulder grab/turn/attack. All said it was infront of my yard. All made note of the leash. All said I had the dog by the collar. The story is straight. The problem is they explained it as a lion attack. People think that a dog bites, then backs off. Not true. A dog bites, locks down and then attempts to rip the flesh, which is EXACTLY what Moolie did.
Moolie may get sacraficed to make the people happy. A few neighbors were crying which is understandable because it was a horrible thing to watch. A man on his back, a dog over him with his face burried in his neck/chest and then tugging backwards and draggin ghim a little ways and then me beating the dog to get him to release. The dogs ears look like horns, 2.5" wide black studded collar with spikes, all black with just a few white hairs on his chest, huge flaps on the side of his face with constant drooling, the dog looks like he is straight out of hell.
They'll let me know in one week.
I'm going to be polite & nice with the neighbor, I'm going to make a very nice offer in 72 hours. If it's refused, then I will have to play some mind games and make them think that their very existance is in danger if they don't release my Moolie.
I need to see if there is anything I can do with this angle: He threatened my 3 year old. I can easilly change the story to "he hit my child" and then threaten to press charges against him.

This is bullshit, your dog did exactly what it was supposed to do. If your neighbor is yelling and screaming at a 3 yr old in that manner then its a threat, so fuck him. And as far as him grabbing you, your neighbor is a dumbass. If the dog is going to subdue him when he is yelling what the hell does he think is going to happen when he touches you? Fucking morons.

Was your neighbor on your property when he grabbed you? Couldn't you use that as well? He assulted/attacked/grabbed you on your own and your dog's own territory and he appeared to be threatening you.

If I ever own a dog, it will be a wolf breed. I will specifically train it to attack people on command. I wouldn't have just the one tho, I'd want like 5 or 6 of them. So that my wolf tribe would tear a man to pieces. I'd post up beware of Clan Frostwolf signs everywhere. All my wolves would have matching dark blue leather jackets. I'd have 1 too. The boss wolf would have a gouged out eye that scarred over and turned milky white in its blindness. For dramatic affect you see, the bosswolf would have a slightly off color jacket marking its station. After some stupid prick yelled at my spawn, I'd turn Clan Frostwolf on him. The bosswolf would go for the throat while the others attacked various limbs. When the guy was done, me and my wolves would go out to celebrate, we'd get some Mean Gene burgers and milkshakes.

The dog has been obedience trained and follows basic comands very well. Sometimes you need to yell a lil bit to let him know you are serious, but he does as told. Agression? There is some, I can't say there isn't. Come near the house, cars, kids, me, or act loud and he'll bark his head off. He never bit anyone before.
Was going to do some guard/attack commands, but they were too demanding on me and on him. I seen he was protective at 6 months and that's all I needed. We went to six classes, as observers only. Attack training can't start until the dog is at least a year and a half, some wait until two.

Demand that your dog be returned to you. Eyewitnesses will make sure that your dog is unharmed. Don't pay a cent for their treatment, as they're in the wrong. If your dog is put down, sue the shelter. It won't bring it back, but at least you'll be able to get back at them in some small way.

If the dog is well-trained it will pass the tests. Then you just tell the cops, "He put his hands on me."
This is an attack, but one that was provoked. A reasonable judge/cop will see the difference.

I did "visit" Moolie today.
Moolie does NOT mean nigger. It's short for Moolinyan which means "Egg plant".
They grabbed Moolie with two long poles with nooses at the end. They tried to get him to go into the animal control truck and two officers were present with guns drawn. I asked permission to put the dog in the truck and I was allowed. I simply tapped the cage in the truck and Moolie jumped right in, tail wagging and waiting for praise for what he did.
they'll see that he is not agressive. They'll see that he is cool with his food. I hope they let him go :(
