I kept my beast chained close.
Others were slaves to theirs, flaunting their submission, holding it as a badge of honour.
Not me. My beast held nothing over me. I held the power.
Could I really have been so naïve?
The beast of control comes in many guises. Some believed the nature of their beast to be drugs, alcohol, gambling, some even to the insidious tobacco weed. By feeding it, they think they are alive and free. But these were all different faces of the addiction beast, and the fools who think otherwise shall remain ever so.
Others were kept in thrall by the bitch of greed. Evermore she lingered in their minds, manipulating their thoughts, turning them all towards accumulation. Worshippers of this beast become kings of the world, only to find their maker desert them when they had it all, and the void left behind killed more often than it redeemed.
Many a twisted soul, poor in spirit and hope, suffered under another decrepit beast that could never be sanctioned by the society they lived in - this beast drove their urges towards children, only there could they find release. They were the damned, and all were be hunted down in the end.
Man, as we thought of him, evolved slowly, spending many an eon scrabbling in the dirt of creation, fighting over the scraps of fat and marrow from a carcass, always needing more to stay ahead of the pack. In many ways, nothing had changed. Jealousy, hate, violence and greed still tarred their souls, always searching for an outlet.
Some soothed the savage beast with family, religion and Gods, believing these thin veils of sophistication can hold protect them. Better to cap a volcano with a lace net for all the good it would do. The beasts moved within us all, swelling our pride, stroking our egos, and sharpening our hate.
My beast was contained with iron discipline. The cage that held it was one I had wrought throughout my life. With understanding and focus, it became sturdy. I held my beast well. Fool I was!
I though I knew my beast, I kept it chained close. Fool I was!
It was far more subtle.
Pride cometh before a fall, and pride was the needle used to unpick me.
I began with a will to do good, to change the filth and decrepitude that infested our society. All the different manifestations of the beasts I would conquer and cure. I was to be the one, the saviour of our kind. Fool.
Power was mine to wield, the pack looked on with anticipation at the new, unfettered life I would offer. I delivered, and in doing so succumbed. At the moment of my triumph, my heart swelled with delight. I could see the future and all it held, a second paradise, a utopian dream.
Then it struck.
Pride was its hook, and devastation its device.
My power consumed me, the beast pulled all towards him, and I became its tool. Death, famine, war and pestilence I gave to my people. All loved me and despaired. Rivers of blood I waded through, mercy was alien to me. Only the deaths of the unworthy could quench my beast.
Now there are none. The dream has become reality, for without man, there are no beasts. Only one remains; and I am his. He keeps me chained close.

Its the internet, its anonymous, you really shouldn't get so upset and retal people in conditions like this. Its not healthy.
Stop fucking men. Its pointless, you can't procreate that way, no matter how hard you give it to your 'partner'.
Don't take you self loathing and homosexual resentment out on the reat of the world. Join a support group, if only for the ass.
