Wouldn't it be nice to awake only to realize that morning has failed to occur? Sure, mornings are important... They nurish plant life with sunshine. Mornings tell the owls that their shift is over for the night. They signify the start of a new day. But aside from those things, Mornings really suck. I just can't take them anymore, and I think it's due time that someone spoke up about it.
Let's take the name for starters...Morning.
I don't know about the rest of you, but whenever I'm mourning; it's because of death, not the start of a new day. This makes me think that the whole system is fucked...but perhaps, not fucked at all. Maybe the system is designed to fool the common man in to believing that morning is a good thing.
The symbolism between morning and the start of life is fairly apparent, but what if morning wasn't supposed to stand for new beginings at all....what if morning was actually supposed to stand for death. Maybe our dreams are memories left from our lives and that we are living in death. Morning would end our dream state and spark the start of our death for another day. Makes perfect sense in a synical way...
The reality of morning is a sad one at that. We are all tired when morning comes, plus sleep feels so good...shouldn't waking up be the part that feels good? Even common phrases suggest our view of morning is wrong. Ever heard of the night-life? I've never heard someone reffer to the morning as a lively time.
I'm calling shananigans on the whole morning thing.
The nighttime is the right time.
