Known only as "Imunme," this rising star in the Canadain Art scene prefers to keep a somewhat low profile. Based out of Laval, Quebec, he is gaining recognition for his work in digital photography manipulation. His pieces are dark and sensual, often featuring the same women in grotesque situations combined with a subtle beauty. Imunme's work can be found on various online forums and art sites.

I must disagree, iddqd. Photography is art. Some of it is art-ier, and some of it is less arty, and some of it belongs in the bowels of deviantart.com. (the above may be the latter)
Depending on how much work you put into an image in the darkroom you can create magnificent art. Working with raw dektol and some decent tri-x film; thats art. Changing the tint in Photoshop and saying it's a masterpiece--- not so much.
I'm not a big fan of the macabre stuff pictured here, but in and of itself i guess it's art in the pictorial/imagery sense. It's not just a picture of [stuff] or [random person]. The scene was created for the purpose of taking that picture and because it can be called artistic, the image of the scene is thus art.

there are so many chicks like this one in Laval, it feels like i saw this girl a hundred times.
to be fair, there's so many ravers in that city that not eating and dancing furiously usually result in a nice body...temporarily.
