Fourth of July. Independance day. Whoop-de-fucking-do. I'm at work right now. There are no guests in house, there are no check-ins arriving today, there are no customers in the restaurant or tavern, and it's raining, so no fireworks.
I've been here since 1:00 this afternoon, and I've had literally nothing to do. I've read a few posts, read my new issue of ToyFare twice, and had a chicken parmesean (which was better than Olive Garden's).
I finshed Final Fantasy 12 last night. There's a sore point. Usually the programmers make the ending worth the wait by making the finale about half an hour long, this one only took about ten minutes. Now I'm playing Legend of Dragoon for the PS1. Classic.
My new car is running pretty good. I just had to replace the oil sending unit and the spark plugs, so now all it needs is an allignment and an AC recharge. Not bad for a 400 dollar car.
I'm still waiting for more ideas for my new story, but I'm not in a hurry as nobody seemed too interested in it. I was going to do some work on it today, but I'm not getting any productive ideas at the moment. Too bad though, I thought it had potential.
Whatever, I just wanted to throw up a post today since I haven't been very active lately. Maybe tomorrow inspiration will strike and I'll roll out something that doesn't suck too much. Perhaps I'll do a follow-up to Mr. Asshole. On second thought, maybe I shouldn't.
And just to make things interesting, un-ban sicosemen. Sure he's an asshole, but he's one of OUR assholes.
