I was having a conversation on the phone last night with a friend. We began discussing fucked up things we had heard in the news recently and I mentioned a story I had read about a dog raping a child. (http://www.wivb.com/global/story.asp?s=6768851)
Truly an atrocity, but it reminded my friend of a heated discussion we had regarding some band or other which ended in the following way:
Me: 'If you don't admit that such and such are the greatest band on the planet, I'll rape your fucking cats'
Her: 'You what? You can't do that, they're not kittens anymore!'
We both paused at this point, and fell about laughing for the obvious reason; sure, it's alright to rape a kitten, but an older feline? That's just fucked up!
The theme of cat-rape has sort of become a customary point of call every time we talk now, to the point where last night I was challenged to make a song about the topic. I present to you now Uber, my single greatest musical creation to date: 'Don't Rape Me, I'm not a Kitten Anymore.'

I'm very amused by the fact that you wrote a song called "raping kittens", and a "band" (we were just going to get drunk and record 4 songs, since that's all myspace can hold, then make an elaborate bio about our history, blogs about fake shows, etc...) I'm in has one called "flinging kittens".

I think it might have been the Synthetic. And it was the Helium you should have used the whole time. I dunno... I just think that's what a cat would sound like.
I layer the shit outta my stuff, to the point that I've had trouble with the memory and importing them. I just wish they wouldn't auto save as AIF because those are frickin' huge. I always switch them to 128 mp3's.

Dude, they only go as AIF when you export them. The .band files are tiny, well, not tiny, but usually half the size. At least iTunes has the whole 'convert to mp3' thingy.

The helium one? I used it twice before, once audibly, once not. Unless you mean the really deep one before the very end, thought it was too hard to hear.
The loops I used were one of the rock drum kits, a Suspense Accent, the Synthetic Design and Super Stager textures. I fucking love that programme. Once I'm on broadband that doesn't have a download limit I'm going to get all the Jam Packs.

Session, Acid, Reason, Kinetic are all sort of good in different ways.
The only one I've ever used and thought was probably the best in comparison was Acoustica Mixcraft.
