Sitting in your room the night after it happened was the first time I realized the sickness would get between us too. Its the sort of thing that slips by when youre not looking, through the cracks in your granite diligence, and theres really nothing you can do about it. At the same time I realized that this meant enjoying anything close a normal human existence was now forever an impossibility. As a direct consequence of these two realizations, I smiled.

My fate may already be decided but it is regardless a mystery to me. So, even if I am no more then a small cog in a large machine, I should very much like to discover what role it is I play.

Am I interesting or do I just have a way of using big words to say small things? Am I funny or do I just intentionally misinterpret everything you say? Are you beautiful or is it just something you have painted on your face? Are you sexual or is that just how society trained you to behave?

Would you expect me to believe Einstein if he told me intelligence didnt matter?--No.
Then why you do expect me to believe you when you say beauty doesnt matter?

Thin of hair and skin and bone
Thin of house but thick of home
Thick of dreams and land to raom
Thing of function thin of form
Thin of riches but yet not poor
For my mind is my own and I want not more.

If you could be any animal what would you be?--A butterfly.
A butterfy?--Yes.
Why?--Because they are beautiful.
Beautiful? So thats enough for you then, beauty?--Yes.
Neither strength nor wisdom interests you?--Not particularly. Life is more simple for the beautiful for you do not have to lie. Merely smile and the world will agree with you whether it wishes to or not.
I think you over simplify but I am flattered by your praise so I shall forgive you this once.--Oh? And what pray tell were my winning words?
Why I think you intimated that I was beautiful.--I did no such thing love, but for the record, you are.
And, for the record, so are you.--I take it back then.
What, that I'm beautiful?--No, that beauty does not lie.

There's an art to suffering, but its one better left alone if you don't think you can manage to be very careful about it. In fact, its probably better left alone altogether. If you have the knack it can produce unrestrained lucidity in fits and bursts, but only for a time. In the end it just sends you to hell, hand in hand with the words you wouldn't speak.

I read the following exchange a little while ago and laughed a hearty laugh. All the children in the lands rejoiced:

Hey I meant to tell you, Scruggs came by my house the other day and asked to borrow some eggs so I carved him into an ice sculpture with a rusty spoon and then I farted on him till he melted.

I can appreciate this, but I found some of the phrasing awkward. As a result, while it's short, it's still a harder read than I sometimes find your writing.

I liked this and I'm not sure why. For some reason I couldn't just skim it then read it properly later.

Also a question, do you think a backwards 3 with a slash through is acceptable in place of an ampersand?

Strangely appealing.

Plus it's finally raining here. Kind of.

I saw weird stuff in that place last night. Weird, strange, sick,
twisted, eerie, godless, evil stuff. And I want in.
