I'm just curious what could cause me to have my 4th hernia, 3rd in 5 years, and I'm only 24.
-2Die, I don't give a fuck, but can I at least get one decent response because I honestly don't know and I have a Dr. Appt. for 3 O'clock.

It's not cancer or anything, but you might need surgery to correct it.
I wouldn't worry... Worst case scenario is that you'll go under, wake up feeling dehydrated while an ugly old nurse feeds you ice chunks, and then take a shitload of painkillers for a couple weeks, lose your mind, and then be over with the whole thing.
So like, yeah, get some sleep and like, relax.

Finally, I never made the statement that you are hiding behind a "mirror" of any kind. You are on the internet; by and large, you are as anonymous as you can possibly be. Yes, people around here may know your name and, by proxy, address, work, email, etc., but how many times have those things actually be around here to cause harm to another?
Very few, from my knowledge. My claim was that you use the anonymity and safety of the internet and the nature of this website as a whole to act in ways you wish to in the real world, but cannot out of fear of the consequences. It's nothing overly deplorable; many around here do it.

That wasn't a slam, just a statement of fact. And I personally think that, regardless of the "persona" you are portraying, the fact that you decide to portray an asshole says something about your actual personality, i.e., you feel the need/desire to act this way while claiming that you are somehow different in real life.
I don't think that's fully the case. Those who start fights on the internet then walk away laughing, saying, "Dude, it's just an act" seem (to me) like there is a part of them who somehow wishes they could actually do the things they do here, only they don't want to accept the consequences. Well dude it could be any number of things.
Maybe you're putting too much strain on a certian part of your body. Ya know, like you're lifting something thats too heavy or you're pushing yourself too hard during exercise.
At the same time it could just be the old hernia re-opening.
I'm no doctor, and I don't know what kind of hernia you have. But it seems to me you should probably take things real easy for a while.
