Ah, Sunday morning.
It's a beautiful bright Sunday morning here in the UK. I have the cricket on the radio and my lady is catching up on her TV she missed last night due to us being out.
She's great, we were out at a friends drinking till 1am this morning. Due to her being 8 months and 1 week pregnant (bless her) she couldn't join in, but she doesn't complain or moan in the least.
I love her lots. I must tell her that today.
Yesterday was my last day of drinking (until the baby arrives). I have to be fit and ready to drive to the hospital at a momments notice.
Do I care? Not in the least. She's had no alcohol for 8 months. It's te hVERY least I need to do.

Yeah, we still have sunshine this afternoon too. It's really quite nice.
Finlay or Rowan. We if'd and but'd about Ruby but that is too popular these days.
-------------------
Rowan is good. It sounds new... If that makes sense. I've never met anyone called ruby, but I'm soooo fed up of hearing girls names with an E sound on the end. Ellie, Rosie, Jainey, Carly, Amy, Sally ect ect ect Don't even get me started on the retarded made up names parents call their kids. Chy is not a name dammit!
------------------
I wasn't sure at first but it has grown on me.
Having said that... I'm having a boy anyway (at least she BETTER produce me a boy).

This started with something interesting. Like you could have expanded on the whole journey through pregnency thing... but you went and jumped onto a bandwagon. This shit has got to stop. Enough already. Fucking bandwagons are fucking pissing me off. I know, I am guilty of participating in one myself, but let's cut the shit people.
The fact you posted an almost complete anecdote saved this from being a -2.

I guess you're one of the places the floods avoided then? It was sunny earlier but now it's just typical summer weather. Grey and overcast.
You thought of any names for the unborn yet?

I highly recommend the name Rowan. It's number one with cool kids, but she may turn out ginger. Be warned.

In slightly related news I'm be in Taunton for the weekend mid september, group of us go every year for beer and cricket.
---------------
Funny you should say that.
I was supposed to be heading down to Devon in August to meet up with Drogo, Little Monster and Emission.
Due to obvious circumstances, what with my mortgage deal falling through, this may be a little delayed.
Could possibly try and sort out a little gathering for Septmeber??

Yep...... my house got well and truly fucked in the floods.
Insurance company reckons it'll be 4 months before I can move back in, because the water washed out so much mortar on the left side of the house that the foundations aren't stable. Gotta get the brickies in to sort out the mess.
Meanwhile, I'm living with my ex-girlfriend, in her teeny-tiny apartment.
I may well be going down for murder at some point in the next 4 months. Her fake cheeriness is getting me down.
It's like living with Barbie on prozac.

Jesus, that's fucked up.
Best of luck NOT killing her.

+2 for sunshine.
It's helping dry out my house which was still under water this time last week.
---------------
Seriously?
Sorry to hear that.
You're down the Wesy Country yes?

I wouldn't live anywhere else when the UK is like it was this morning.
