This is mostly just some rant on strangely illogical people, if this seems not the least bit amusing to you, I included a some what funny pic at the end.
You know, there are a certain kind of people I seriously wonder why or how they exist in this world. I know, I know they have as much right to their fair share of space as the rest of us... blah blah... blah... blah fuck you. Anyways, perhaps I should be more descriptive. See I work with this woman who is positively the most evil, vile person on the face of the planet. It's as if someone went back in time and took Hitler and had him impregnate Lizzy Borden. The result, this illogical, selfish bitch. But anyways, I have mentioned her before (see http://www.ubersite.com/m/84224) if you're too lazy to click the link, the summary of that is, she took a guys valentines letter from his girlfriend (which slipped out of his pocket at work) and posted it in the break room for everybody to see. The guy went nuts, walked out, broke stuff, and got fired. But I honestly and sincerely wonder what possessed her to do something like that? Especially considering the content of the letter (it was pretty graphic, not your typical, oh I love you! etc.. kind of letter).
But of course this is just the tip of the ice berg, and i'm sure even compiled with everything I do know, I don't truly know the capabilities of this bitch.
But just to give you a better idea, i'll go into more detail on her.
Every morning she would be our relief for graveyard shift. Almost every morning she would show up thirty to fourty minutes late, and after she was late she would ask us to do all this extra stuff before we left. We would change out the sanitizer water buckets right in front of her, and she would ask us to change them out again. There was one occasion, somebody told me about, she had shown up almost an hour late. When she got there she made herself something to eat, went in the lobby, ate her food for almost twenty minutes (all while on the clock) then when she was finished she demanded the people she was supposed to relieve reclean certain things that she made dirty in order to cook her food. In total, they were there almost two hours after they were supposed to leave because of this crazy bitch.
She's been fired twice, but managed to come back because either the manager that fired her got fired (or quit) or the District Manager got fired. She's sued the company, for a supposed miscarriage that was caused by her own negligence. And the funny thing is, they launched no investigation, but paid her off for almost six months. By my current managers, she's been caught up in almost three different lies, one of which she claimed our former manager forced her to drop off the deposit, which she stated that she told my former manager she didn't feel well, but (according to her) my former manager didn't care. Where she got into an accident because she blacked out and hit a tree. When in truth, my former manager wasn't even there that day. Then, she changed her story of hitting a tree (after she filed the report stating she hit a tree) that she hit another car. There was a guy I knew she wrote up because he cussed at a customer, but the reason he cussed at this customer was because the guy spit at him, then threw his burger at him.
Oh and there's also all the times she's gone into the computer and changed her hours. Like, the days she left early, she changed to her leaving two hours later. And she's still late almost every day. And can't lift anything over twelve pounds because of the "Accident".
Not to mention she has 6 spoiled kids all as rotten as her. And she's caused several people to quit, mainly because she would make them scrub the parking lot and other mundane activities, while she herself was sitting on her ass.
And this is of course all I know... I'm sure it's much, much worse.
I just wonder, how do people become like that? I mean, what event in their life causes them to be so disgusting, and to have such a vile personality? I'm sure everyone reading this has met someone similar and wondered the same thing, if anyone has any theory as to why, please indulge me.
My theory is, it's some sort of dormant gene, that everybody carries. Then there's that one person, (and every family has one, I guarantee it.) For example, my aunt for the most part is self absorbed and very much a practitioner of softcore altruism. She adopts all kinds of sick or abused animals, just to brag about them. She also doesn't bother talking to any of us, despite living just up the road, unless it's a holiday. And never invites us to her house at any point. But the thing that's pissed me off the most about her is, the things she's said about my grandfather.
My grandfather had a stroke a few years back that left him paralyzed on his right side. So of course, we were all going to have to help him out, because he can't drive (he can still walk) but he can't drive. She became frustrated about the whole situation and stated "If the situation were reverse would he do the same for us?" But, this statement I got over, because I knew she was an unreliable selfish bitch to begin with, however, due to what she told my mother recently I want nothing to do with her. She told my mother that she's saved up all the receipts of all the things she's bought my grandfather, and one way or another she'll get the deed to the house and get her money back out of it when he dies. And this is her own father were talking about here.
But back to the original question, how do people get like that? I honestly don't understand it. Maybe there's a side of the issue i'm not seeing, or perhaps one must apply blind logic to each scenario. Still, just what the fuck? Maybe it's one of those things I will never understand, but oh well life goes on.
Anyways, to compensate for this horrible rant, a semi funny picture.

Doesn't really answer any question what so ever, but if I may make an assumption, your idea of humor is probably that of a Frasier episode, where the focus is on one of them trying to get some. Amirite? Were you in stitches over the potential plot in which multiple lies are used in order to get some girl to swoon for one of them? That would be my assumption, however i'm probably wrong.

Well, getting to her car would be a problem because half the time she gets a ride from her mom (who she lives with) and the other half she parks right underneath the camera outside. And i'm not sure how many people live at her house, but it could prove just as difficult since she has six kids and all...

Nah you're pretty much dead on with the me-first thing. I got burned bad once when I was younger. I realized then and there everytime I opened myself up like that, I shouldn't be suprised when someone took a swing and busted my chops good. So I stopped going out on a limb for people.
I've stepped over drunken hobos in the street who were puking blood as they layed half on the curb half on the sidewalk. Kept on walking and minding my own business. I've taken up the me first attitude and its worked great ever since.

This is no valid excuse, nor do I have any evidence to back it up.
But maybe people get like that because they get frustrated with how people treat them despite their generosity and caring. I'm kind of ashamed to admit it myself, but I'm starting to develop a bit of a 'me first' attitude because of all the countless times people have taken advantage of how nice I am and how I put others first. It's just like, wow, I've been fucked over again because it suits you best, despite all the shit I've done to help you out. Thanks.
Kinda a vicious circle type deal.
I also believe that the amount of intelligence people posess dictates how they treat others. Stupid people seem to be incapable beyond thinking for themselves because they don't have the mental capacity to do so.
Also, there's all the modern society everyone has to have what's best and do the best and be the best type deal.
These are all of my general ideas. I know they are generalizations and I know they are not all true.

Both are understandable, I mean, I honestly wouldn't expect everybody to be the next Mother Theresa, I wouldn't expect everybody to take in every stray dog they see on the street, or give every homeless man they meet all their spare change. But i'm talking about the sorts of things people do that are intentionally harmful (in some way or another) towards a person or an organization. For example, the main woman I talk about, clearly has no problem ripping off the company she works for. If it's for just twenty extra dollars on her paycheck, or her being allowed to sit at home collecting checks under false pretenses. I know she's not the first person to ever do this, and this should be fairly obvious to me (she clearly just wants money and wants to make it as easy as possible) however, what possesses a person to intentionally make the lives of their coworkers harder and harder each day by showing up late then making demands things be re done after they had gotten done right in front of her eyes? It's probably just some sort of power trip thing she has. But regardless, why?

That's pretty much what I do now, but when I started working there (because she was management) I had to do whatever she said. But now that i'm management as well, and the main managers like me better, I can blow her off as much as I want. But I honestly never worked with her that much, she just relieved us, which took from thirty minutes to an hour of a process.
