Soul lamenting
fire burning inside
yearning to feel your pains...
Let our lamenting souls twist and turn
in fervor.
Shall we meet?
Shall we convene?

Black clouds have lingered too long
such that the lark will not sing his song.
I just want to be in the sun, accepted
with each and every one, except that
you've given me a life full of effervescent bubbles
to which I drowned all the sorrow, seeing doubles.

This life isn't meant for souls like me

You'd be surprised at just how much we understand...and by that very same understanding, we mock.
It is a dark and terrible world and we all feel pain. You want to feel special but have recently realized that you're not. You are just another part of the herd, changing your spots when it suits you to try and some semblance of friends. You dress funny, and hang out with other people who dress funny, because they too know what it is like to "not be understood". You die your hair black, or cut it in some stupid flip cut you saw on MtV and thought hey I wanna be like him, but I have no talent, but maybe I can look like him and chicks will like me. They wont. They still think you're a poser pussy with no true individuality. You're just like every other "i'm so sad" emo fuck out there who thinks the world doesn't understand them.
Well guess what buttercup: It ain't the world's job to understand you. Nobody will give a shit about you if you just piss and moan and unsuccessfully kill yourself repeatedly in desperate bids for attention and reassurance that your are special and loved.
