Two weeks in Hawaii swimming in the ocean and running around state parks in great weather (with a few hours of flight testing squeezed in between) can sure tire you out.
Glad to be back in southern MD so I can enjoy the summers scorching heat and bad beaches. But at least I don't have to listen to fucking tourists talking like pineapples after spending two days on the beach drinking mai-tai's.

Waikiki was too touristy for my tastes. Had a great time on the North Shore though. Lovely place to visit but I'd never want to live there. Too hot and humid for my tastes.

If I go back for a real vacation I wouldn't even go to O'ahu, the whole place is too touristy.
Did you go by giovonnes shrimp shack when you were on the north shore?
I have been there in aug, dec, and june and during the summer it is actually a lot less humid there then in MD.

Before I tried I thought it would be lats, but I only feel it in my obliques (spelling?? the muscle on the side of your abs). I used to be able to do it for almost a minute. I haven't tried in a few years and now it was about 3 seconds before I wanted to cry.

Well, that's 2 seconds longer than I could probably nowadays. I've not kept up with my strengthening exercises...for shame, I know.

Hawaii seems nice...but I've always preferred the cooler climates myself. Still, it's on my "to-visit-before-I-die" list of locales.

The actual memorial was the thing I was standing on below that picture. The arizona is a ship that sank during pearl harbor that was left where it sank, the white bridge thing goes over the wreckage.
