To continue on with it though, this goddess has a small religious sect of worshippers all to her own. The inner core of worshippers are, of course, females. In theory, ghey menz could be included in the inner core of worshippers, it just hasn't come up. Regular Joes are sometimes too fluxomed by the peculiar spelling demanded by true worship, so they are content to gather in the courtyard of the temple and support temple services by calling the womenz (some menz too) "Bicthes."
The acolytes start off with the best of intentions but the Anfry Jelous Bicth is a crabby and demanding diety and soon, the acolyte begins her own bicthy behavior. It is here that she becomes an actual priestess of bicthery. Legend has it that this relious sect was created by a fictional, narcissistic heifer named Despina.
As priestesses, worship is performed by slinging back-handed, venomous insults at the other priestesses. Although having genuine friendship with the other priestesses, it is considered proper for one priestess to dig at each other. Then they all sit around, get drunk on the temple wine, and laugh the barbs.
