Yesterday we brought home this little one from the rescue centre. She was found alone and cold, in a place in London called Valentines Park.
She's only thirteen weeks old and has yet to meiow or purr as she is so nervous. In fact, as I speak she is hiding behind the couch....
Her name is Mica.

I had one just like her!
My wife and I went to the rescue centre to get ourselves a new cat and we had our eyes set on another cat but she just jumped on my shoulder and started enjoying herself and licking my neck. My wife couldn't stop laughing and so she kind of selected us to take her out of there.
The first time she did this shoulder jumping on my wife I remember that my laughter wasn't received well at all.

Cool, I am loving this week. Being able to look after my parents cats gives me a form of company! Now that makes me sound like a psycho but its a bonus that they cant talk back. Even though Barney hisses like a nutter.
I need some form of entertainment right now, being back at work really does suck.

I can't say that I like cats in the least. In fact, I really kinda hate them.
The shedding? The scratching, biting, licking - and the SMELL of wet cat food is fucking horrid.
Don't even get me started on willingly keeping a box of cat shit IN the house.

A deranged stray has adopted me. This cat is batshit. She will jump in your lap and bug you to be petted, then after a minute, she looks at you as though you are the devil incarnate sent to rip her head off and eat her spleen, that is to say, she looks at you rather distrustfully, and takes off, tearing down the hall, before turning around and giving you a dirty look like you've done something unforgivable. Since no one else would want such a batsit cat, I'm kind of stuck with her. My man says that she suits me.

Both my parents cats (where I am currently staying) Barney and Holly are both rescue cats, brother and sister. Barney suffered a twisted intestine shortly after he moved in and had life saving surgery, pet insurance is a wonderful thing.
However he is on a warning at the vets as last time he got so scared he found a hole in the wall and climed like a rat up a drain pipe and hid at the top.
Who has a hole in the wall at a vets, i ask you!!
