I miss what used to be, and what could have been.
Just the prospect could bring a smile to my face, that illustrious twinkle to my eye. It would make my days fly by, crowding my thoughts, never allowing for a distraction.
But what was once ethereal is now ephemeral....fleeting and gone before I could really taste...what it was like, what it could have been.
The promise of more.
Now, every joke brings me back to it. The usual topics that would permeate/pervade the innerworkings. Like a personal joke, between me and the old you.
What happened to taking time out during the day, just to say hello. To familiarize myself with you, whenever possible, loving the initiation by fire, the subsequent cliques that formed, the in and the out.
Now, you're an afterthought. Something I'll devote a minute to, if I'm REALLY bored. Sometimes, I don't care if you're alive or dead anymore. I've got better things to do now.
Or maybe it wasn't your fault. Maybe it was others, that tainted my perception of you. I shouldn't have let that happen, but now it's too late.
It's become increasingly hard for me to say this, but, Uber....you suck now. Get better. Please?

I anticipate an Uber Revival in the next month or two... on part with the "Second Great Awakening".

I think you users that have been on here forever have a problem with ANYONE new coming in at all. Almost like a club who doesnt want to accept anymore members cause they have become complacent in their comfort zone. The problem with that is you will never have any new life, any new blood, any new opinions or views, thus making the site stagnant. Now I'm not saying that everyone should be accepted cause some people are just complete and utter douchenozzles. At the same time dont hate on someone cause they want to be a part of this boredom inspired community, hate them cause they post shit, not cause they're new.

I was commenting on behaviour of the type which was discussed on a different post, which was relevant here because of the nature of this post. Well maybe I do but I truly dont see why it affects anyone other than me and the person I am doing it too. Its slightly tongue in cheek and in good humour.
I am sick of people debating this website and its uses, it's for whatever people want it to be. You get serious writing, idiots, humourous anicdotes etc etc I have posted nothing semi serious hey? "vapid whorish" is a quote taken from an discussion elsewhere on this site, about why Uber has gone down the chute. It is all about being perceived as having a willing vagina or big tits or nice legs, not so much about posting actual worth. Which is sad and boring. So I get pissed off. You are by no means the only person doing it, but you roam around this place chatting up absolutely everything and everyone, while making no attempts to post anything even semi-serious. And I know, this place is not a serious writers forum, but I sometimes wish it was.
