As I was leaving work yesterday, I decided it was a great time to argue with my bank over some old NSF fees I had to pay. Much to my suprise, they agreed with me and reembursed quite a large some of money to my account! So I got on the el to go home, visions of bills to be paid dancing in my head. I didn't sit down to pay sed bills last night, oh no, it took me a good 3 hours just to make it a block past my stop. You see, the Walgreens fairy sprinkled Choward's Violet mints in my mouth and slipped me the idea of pulsing out some money. SOME! I thought, "one beer will not hurt!" well ok, "three can't be that bad!" "What Jagers on sale? Great I'll take two, one for me and one for my new friend here." "Hey barguy! Do you take plastic or just paper? Plastic? Great, I'll have another!" At some point in the evening my new found drinking buddy from the Isle of St. Martin, asked me what I was celebrating. So I bought another round of drinks and explained my small victory over the monster that is LaSalle Bank. I then celebrated the telling of the story with a shot of that minty gold shit(that too was on sale). When did I go home and clean the bathroom? I do not know. Where the sixer of Hex Nut Brown came from? I'm not so sure. I'm just thankful I still have the Choward's mints to keep the stink of booze at bay while at work. And god bless BC powder for getting rid of a wicked headache. I called my bank this morning, I'v got another NSF fee to pay.
