You came here, to this post, hoping beyond hope that there was a great piece of fiction just waiting to revitalize this place, or maybe some drama you could latch yourself onto like some loser remora...
And really why do they make such a big deal about the relationship between the shark and the remora? It's not that sharks are dismissive or unaware of or unhappy or happy with the presence of the remora. Sharks just don't have time to care about things like remoras.
They're busy maiming and killing.

Is some little toady remora who wants to be a hanger on who sneers at the helpless seal or surfer or whatever really that big a conversation piece for sharks? HELL NO. Sharks don't have conversations; they are too busy annihilating things. But that soulless follower stare that those little hooker remoras display helps to mentally maim that prey right before they get gnawed on.
Sharks allow remoras to live because of this, and only because of this. It's true, look it up.
Anyway, what you were looking for isn't here. I'm not here to supply you with some sense of inner satisfaction or a relief from the grinding monotony of your day to day life.

While we're talking about Superman I have a question. This is not one of the poll questions, but a stand alone type of item. Here goes:
I've really upped my workouts lately and I've noticed a corresponding level of VERY high satisfaction with my morning shit. I'm talking about real gut clearing dumps of a quantity that astounds me. The kind where your pants fit a little looser when all is said and done.
Last night though, I didn't do my running on the treadmill until fairly late. Maybe 6 or 7 hours past my usual time.
This morning, I hit the bathroom and...nothing. Well, a torrential piss, but absolutely nothing from the other end. Not even an urge.
So just a little while ago, after having been awake for 7 or 8 hours, I was suddenly overcome with a rectum pushing emergency and had to engage in that most unthinkable of acts. The Dreaded Office Poo.
I hate the Office Poo. You can't just be yourself with it.
No guttural gruntings. No letting the farts just trumpet out of you.
OH NO. You have to try and be all quiet and considerate of other people. Don't make any sound. Give the bowl a courtesy flush to get any leftover bits down the drain. Leave the exhaust fan on. Spritz around a little Febreze to cover the aroma. This is a travesty!
My leavings are meant to be shared with everyone as a multi-sensory experience. The sounds, smells, and yes, even the sights should be a part of everyone's day.
Fuck the Office Poo.
I wondered if there was a correlation between the drastically shifted workout time and my drastically shifted pooping time. It certainly seems to be the case. This thought progressed a little more and led me to this question:
Does working out at the same time every day give you greater benefits than just fitting it in where you have time? Not just in the world of bowel movements, but over all fitness-wise?
I'd appreciate some responses from non-lardass Uber users on this. Even with the time of day jumping around I'd say I am still only going up capability-wise. I continue to increase weight when lifting, I continue to increase my times and distances running. So the time thing isn't necessarily a hindrance, but I have read some articles that suggest that a set time can help you improve faster. Others have said nothing on the subject. Besides getting a full day of recovery in between workouts, is there a benefit?
Moving on, it's lunch time so I'm going to wrap this thing up...

Ubersite is a microcosm of all human society. It's been said before. Like most human society, there are approximately 50% of all people on here who really, really hate me. First to answer (simplified) your question. Yes, increased physical activity can help your digestive system be more efficient, i.e. digesting, processing, and elimination.
It's sort of complicated though. See, during aerobic activity, peristalsis (activity of the digestive system) slows down . This is probably to allow your body to use all the oxygen and water to get you through the workout. Think of it like turning off the lights in an empty room to save energy.
Once you finish with your workout, your heart is pumping and your lungs are working. You also drink water to replenish what you just lost through sweating. So, now that you don't have need for extra system resources, your digestive system starts its activity back up.
Since over time exercise increases metabolism, naturally your body will burn through its fuel faster. You might even be eating a little more. Hopefully though it is lean protein and fiber (like in whole grains and legumes). Increasing fiber helps bulk the waste. Since your metabolism is higher than it was when your weren't exercising, you'll have bigger and more frequent bowel movements.
Plus, the extra water you drink helps your intestines move the waste along faster.
