ALTER VS N00B?
Well, straight outta the gate, I know that I'M an Alter...
I'm an Alter and I was approved for creation by BartBart himself.
(I gave a very convincing argument)
I was created to be allowed around that pesky "1 post per day" rule - just in case. That, and let's be honest here, just about EVERYBODY else on this site has at least one. I swore that I would only be used for good, that I would still attempt to post quality shit and never skew an overall rating.
Actually, a few of you probably already know who I am. Hell, I even mentioned it in a review before. Such things don't concern me... I don't care if everyone knows who created Adam Warlock.
Kinda like with Scourge and his Flackmonkey Alter, or Darko with Blueboy.
Anyhow...

Ummm...
At what point did the rest of the established Ubersite users decide that Zeglamancer and/or jamowilly40 weren't, in fact, alters themselves? At the very least, I know that term was hurled at them when THEY first arrived. And yet as far as I know, nobody has said anything to this new Prime36L individual. Why?

The question is - What have they done differently? Seriously, why have the Ubersite users accepted SOME as simply new users, but immediately brand others as merely some shit Alter?

Ubersite is a strange place...
... and ultimately, it doesn't matter what you do here. You'll make this site what you want of it. From ETS's politics to FTW's artwork, people use this site as an extension of their personality. Oathmeal has had 87 billion alters, but he always allows his true face to be known. Then we have Michael Jackson, and well... who the fuck really has a clue there?

Yeah, I'm almost a little disappointed with myself about how painfully obvious I made it that I wasn't an alter. Beginning with the bunch of posts featuring tons of pictures of me doing stupid shit, and then advertising my name and website all over the place when I started getting a lot of hits.

I'm Zeglamancer and I approve of this thread. Mostly just because I'm mentioned in it and I'll be damned if the old saying "Any publicity is good publicity" ain't true.

I pretty much see Alters as cowards. I think they are used in order for certian people to say things they normally wouldn't say. However, some people use them to be funny... which is beyond me.

i only really used flakmonkey when this account was banned. i do trot it out sometimes as a joke. i wonder why bart hasn't banned him yet? (please don't, bart)
as for some of the rest of this...
oathmeal only outs his alter when he can't contain his glee at how clever he is any longer at 'fooling' everyone. sico, too. it's really easy to spot oathmeal and sicosemen when they take on a new alter, though. even when they try and assign a persona to it, let's say...an emo boy for instance... they still let so much of 'themselves' shine right the fuck on through.
sico continues to misuse words in ways that boggle and hurt the mind.
oathmeal flys into verbal assaults and attempts to insult people's intelligence using the same words he always uses.
it's not even something you WANT to be aware of, you just see some absurd physical threat using overblown language and you say, 'bingo!'...then you sigh and wonder what the fuck is wrong with people.
i'd fucking LOVE to play poker with these guys if they have as many tells at the card table as they do using alters.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer has alot of adult content. I didn't realize until I started watching it series from the beginning.
Each episode in season 6 has at least two sex scenes. And there are boatloads of sexual innuendo. Back in the day, I assumed it was marketed toward teenie weenies. And it may have been. Yet, I just finished watching an episode where Spike attempts to make hay with himself Homeless-man style, i.e., in public, standing up, penis through zipper hole.
After Buffy, the unfortunate witness, kicks him away in disgust, Spike says, "Thinking of you, holding myself, and spilling useless buckets of salt over your... ending."
EESh.
Anyway, I only bring this up because Willow was a gay witch, which is almost like a straight warlock.
