I swear to god.
I have seen a LOT of shitty ass websites in my time, but this one absolutely HAS to take the cake.
Flikky.com? Are you fucking kidding me? It's all over the uberboard and frankly it's got me in a huff simply based on the slew of reasons why this 'DVD trading' website should be on digg.com as one of the most poorly thrown-together website of all fucking time.
Let's have a quick rundown of the reasons this site is such suck-ass:
1. The layout is reminiscent of a goddamned DOS terminal. Could it be any more painful to look at?
2. The images of the 'DVD's it's hawking are fucking cameraphone snapshots. How professional!1!!1
3. It offers a trade service where you can send in your own DVD's for store credit. GO AND HAVE A LOOK AT THE LIST OF DVD'S THAT 'COMPANY' WILL ACCEPT FOR TRADE. IT'S IN THE SINGLE FUCKING DIGITS, PEOPLE.
4. The name. Ohhhhhh great googly moogly the name. Flikky.com? Just hearing that in my own head as I say it to myself is enough to make me want to cram a running bandsaw down my throat.
flikky.com should be a domain reserved for the purveying of age 4 and under polyethylene CHEW TOYS you GODDAMNED IDIOTS.
Oh and this little snippet:
"FREE shipping on all orders - http://www.flikky.com/ - most DVDs are only $4!"
OF COURSE THE SHIPPING IS FREE WHEN YOU TACK ON A $1,000,000 'FLIKKY FEE' TO EVERY ORDER YOU WORTHLESS HEAP OF STEAMING DUNG.
Get a life and read up on web design, whoever is running that botched, patchwork pail of filth they call a 'DVD website'.
