I went over there, and it was the only time I've had sex with someone and hated it and felt used.
I didn't want it to happen, I went over there expecting something different, but instead I ended up feeling this obligation to fulfill a promise I never made.
I hated it while it was happening and I hate myself now for doing it.

I predict the responses to this will be colorful, to say the least, but I'm going to answer honestly.
There's no need to hate yourself for it (though it's a common response), and worse, it's dangerous- unless you forgive yourself, you're likely to begin a self-loathing cycle and do something like this again.
A healthier response may be to consider why it happened, which you say you already know, and learn from that. That feeling is what led to your choice. You're *never* obligated; you hold the exclusive rights to that decision no matter what the situation- but that doesn't mean you'll never make mistakes. The "I'm not that person" feeling sucks, but don't forget that life isn't black and white. One choice you made doesn't have to mean you're "that person"- it can teach you what not to do so that you don't go down that path to BECOME that person.
