I lived in a small asbestos house for many years. All my friends told me I was crazy. It wasn't as if it was even prefabricated. But I really loved that house so I stayed.
" You're going to get cancer," my friends said.
In the summer when it was warm it would get very dusty and it was hard to keep clean. I breathed in lots of asbestos dust. But I really loved that house so I stayed.
" You're going to get lung cancer," my friends said.
In the winter it was cold and wet. The roof would leak water polluted with asbestos onto my body. But I loved that house so I stayed.
" You're going to get skin cancer," my friends said.
After a few years my house grew old and tired. The other day the roof caved in. A big lump of asbestos hit me on the head.
As I write this I have been awake for a couple of hours. I had been in surgery for six hours. The doctors came around to see me a little while ago. They told me that the operation had not been a success. I have probably got just a few days left to live.
Anyway, I've got to go now. I am really excited. My friends are coming to visit me. I can't wait to tell those know it all fuckers they were wrong.

My grandmother had cancer that was proven to be caused by the asbestos that was used to insulate the schools she taught at in the Chicago Public School system.She taught for over 20 years without any knowledge that she was slowly dying. not funny.

Actually, Abestoes fibres don't cause cancer.
They do however, slowly slice and rupture your lungs. There's a disease named abestoes-synoisis, that name is completely off, but there IS a disease that severly injures your lungs caused by Abestoes.
