In my blood courses the true call of nature and the natural inhabitants of this wonderful continent. I am a proud product of Navajo descendants who shaped, formed, hunted, and enjoyed the land of North America long before some of our Caucasian brother's came to it. I won't mention the travesties placed upon us or of this land because the Navajo character is one to remain strong, focused, and minded toward that of our survival. A lot has changed as is passed down through generations of story telling, but one constant is our pride in our heritage.
One such activity that the Navajo are world renowned for is Sand Painting which involves the tedious job of placing grains of sand, at times even a single granule, in the form of some picture, often an animal or god. When I was looking up pictures I noticed that this was a popular art form in other religions but I'm safe to say that we are the originators. I can't prove that, but I'd hate to search and find otherwise. Either way, it is a beautiful form of art and in the painstakingly long fashion it takes great skill, talent, and yes, even courage to stay on the task at hand. I won't bore you with the minute details, instead I'll show you some collection of both the Navajo and other forms.

yeah no, stfu. that is mentioning them. so while that's mentioned, i'm going to mention that the native americans put several species on the extinct list, and clear burned forests for better hunting. and then there's that whole rape and pillage of your fellow native americans who despite the evil white man coming to destroy them all could still not stop killing each other long enough to eradicate the settlers as they landed.

What rage and hatred! Firstly, I said in the second to last sentence that I'd include both Navajo and other forms. Perhaps you were so clouded with anger and rage that you couldn't read this, so please save your nice history lesson that you had all planned out.
Secondly, extinction to a different species of creature is not the elimination of a race. Your rant has no bearing on the epic failure your people had with coping with us. Sure, we were 'savages' but was slaying a sheep for a demi-god a better practice? Was burning people at stakes because they were 'thought' to be witches a better practice? My people may have had different beliefs, customs, and lifestyles but far be it from you to tell us whether or not they were just.
Our customs were not designed to wipe out whole races or creeds of humans. If someone crossed our village path or were believed to be evil, but never once did we seek to kill off an entire tribe like your Caucasian ancestors did with us. It was a systematic plan to eliminate us as a race. Perhaps if you had one inkling as to what you are talking about other than flying into a rage right away, you'd know that you are wrong.

Most are preserved where possible but some of the ritualistic observances they are destroyed naturally, i.e. rain, etc.
