I'm 2% jealous that it was a RedSox rookie that pitched a no-hitter instead of Phil Hughes, 98% indifferent due to the seemingly random level of talent in the list of players that have pitched no-hitters.
On the one hand, you have Cy Young, Sandy Koufax, Nolan Ryan, Randy Johnson.
On the other, you have Dave Righetti, Doc Gooden (post-coke-out), hideo nomo (twice).
Mostly I'm just bitter about Hughes' hamstring. Fucking Sox.
