Welcome to Round 3 of Uber-Go-Round (U-G-R)©™.
Round Two really separated the DOERS from the QUITTERS, with six forfeits, and only two pairs posting.
It's a sad day on a Serious Writer's Forum when ratings call the win for a sonnet about Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I mean, really. We also saw some good stories, a song, and some comedy. If you haven't already, take a look, yes?
Please forgive my Half-Assery/Absence much of this week (you totally know you noticed)- When I'm not dealing with Uberdrama, I'm staying up too late on worknights and/or preparing a Big Deal Presentation I need to give for the Executive Committee at this place that sends me money every two weeks. I CARE, I REALLY DO.
With the high rate of forfeiture and the input on the last hub post, we've decided to bring the two winneringly challenged yet committed and talented from Round 2 back for another shot at glory in this totally prizeless contest.
Also, and this is my fault, but a word about titles: I didn't ask for them soon enough and as much as I'd like to, I won't have the opportunity today to trawl through the old ones and draw from them. I'm going to leave it up to you pairs- exchange/assign titles if it turns you on; there are lots left on the other rounds' posts, or you can create your own. If not, then I defer to the wise words of Dinosaur Jr:
"But I don't think to pace my day, or figure out if it's okay- Whatever's cool with me."
Please be sure to confirm your tittles agreements below. If your opponent doesn't come along to comment by sometime tomorrow, choose your own title if you wish.
ROUND 3 ENTRY DEADLINE is 11:59PM EST TUESDAY, 9/11- as in one minute before midnight EST on Tuesday night. Voting will close on Thursday, 9/13 at midnight, with Round 4 match ups and titties posted Friday, 9/14.
As I have no hat available at the moment, pairs were drawn at random from the hood of I Loves Me Some Casual Fridays For Awesome Pixies Hoodie.
