Can someone help?
Is the game the All Blacks and Australia are playing actually the same as the one England and Wales are playing? Just that I cannot see much similarity....
Supporting Wales is like having a really bad dad - he promises he will change but can't help fucking up.
Another performance like this and I'm revoking my citzenship...
Kiss my arse, Gareth Jenkins.

I dont really care and, lets be honest, rugby is for closet homos. I mean all sport is, its just that rugby is really obvious about it.

Not really for 'closet homos' then, is it? ;-)
Besides, you make it sound like a bad thing...

Scotland doesn't stand a chance against the All Blacks, the only country that will be a challenge will be, like always, Aussie.

That is one thing that has been bugging me actually. How come the World cup Rugby in FRANCE has Scotland playing home games? Surely England is closer if they didnt have enough grounds.
Is it to save Scotland the Air fare.
hehehehehe

A game is also being played in Cardiff. I don't understand why.

One unexpected result.......wow. you have named 3 out of the 4 teams and if I knew more I would suggest the other team would be one of the bigger rugby nations. So you can predict them.
Even I am aware the All Blacks will win.
=========
I don't think they will. Sure, they've got a pretty easy group to get out of, but I think we might be able to give them a tough game at Murrayfield.
Once again they're going to disappoint, despite obvious dominance.

Em just has issues about rugby as his "Special Frame" meant he was never picked for the teams, at least in cricket they let him play as a stump.
*runs off so as not to let Em know I said it*

I bet you could predict all the semi final teams in this rugby world cup right now.
Plus the team who wins it.
Ridiculous.
==========
No you couldn't. There's only been one 'big' match so far and that was an unexpected result.
Saying that, there's 3 teams that I would bet will be there (SA, NZ, AUS) but the 4th spot is quite open.

I was kinda surprised at how the USA seemed to hold the English for about twenty minutes... But it makes me sad to think that, it was probably going to be their greatest effort in the Cup.
--
USA played well mate. Deserved at least 3 tries, one of them a penalty try due to our captain being a cheating arse. They just need to polish their handling up and they would have run in the other 2.
Still great respect to them for putting on a show, seeing as they actually have other jobs than just kicking and throwing a ball around
==================
The best thing about the outcome of the match was the knowledge that England are going to get fucking battered against the Saffas.
--
Yeah I'm booking myself in for a good heft beer session on friday. I could call it drowning my sorrows but i think i got passed that in the last four years watching them limp around the pitch like old grannies trying to pick up their knickers.
Instead I'm going to drink to a big serving of 'I told you so' even if I didnt tell them so, but I did because I shouted it at the tv enough times dammit.

Rugby Sevens is Fijis national sport, they concetrate on that because they are fucking good at it. Sadly they cant afford to spend time focussing on both Sevens and Union.

Um... Yeah. That's what I said.
Predictions for Pumas against Georgia? Tight first half, loads of tries for the Argies in the second half though.

HBTS - you're right in that regard...but what I meant by funding is taking all the talent in the pacific islands and keeping them there. What will keep them there is a good program.
What is a good program? Putting money into schools, develop rugby in your country. Get good coaches, trainers, equipment, have enough money to play test matches and travel.
Fiji/Samoa/Tonga will be amazing if they can afford to do tours in south africa, new zealand, and oz on a regular basis and develop their talent.
=========
Agreed, but they also have to stop focusing solely on the Sevens game. Admittedly they probably do because they can't get funded for the real deal, but I'm sure they'll get there.

As long as there are teams still coming through (Italy and Argentina mainly) then the game should develop nicely.
Hoping for a few shock results after Francs v. Argentina, and given how poor some of the big nations are looking, I might be in luck!

well the sport is growing, and eventually there will be solid competition forming.
As demonstrated, Argentina is coming along nicely. I recall one match where they gave the All Blacks a run for their money.
Italy is a developing nation, as are the Pacific Islands - they just need more funding.
In Canada and USA, many high schools have rugby teams...unfortunately we're just not introduced to the sport early enough. Instead we waste our time at American Football and Ice Hockey (well, Hockey is cool, American Football not so much)
===================
Funding is exactly what fucked the game. Specifically making it a professional game. I remember when countries like Fiji, Tonga and Samoa were nigh on unbeatable. Now they struggle in everything apart from Sevens. Why? Because all their good players fuck off to play for New Zealand. It's a damn shame.
If I was an Argentinian I would be fucking pissed. It's purely a geographical thing that they don't get to play mroe big games. Based on Friday they're a team who could develop into a powerhouse of modern rugby.

Old Blighty sucked big time on Saturday it was terrible to watch, especially as we should have had our Captain sent off pretty early on in the game.
The pacific Islands actually have some rather good players, who are then promtly snapped up by other countries and given citizenship.
I think teams like Canada and USA are great to watch as they are actually playing people who have proper jobs and play the game because they Love it.

I'm a part of the Canadian Rugby system...
Canuck rugby is basically "give it to your big ass forward, have him slam some people, then give it to the fast guy"
Whereas southern hemisphere is "everybody on the field is fit and fucking fast!!!!11"
I had a glimmer of hope that we were going to win, until Wales crushed it.

The only time I really get interested in Rugby besides the Bledisloe Cup and the Tri Nations.
Hopefully they will sort this lame mess out faster than the Cricket world cup did and get down to the nitty gritty in the quarter finals.
Even the USA have a team for fuck's sake. Since when do they play a sport that at least one other country in the world has the slightest interest in? Bunch of inbred retards.
