I...I need a drink. It's been a long week, and it's only Tuesday.
Ubercompetitions can be a lot of fun, and UGR is no exception. But in retrospect, I used poor judgment when I thought I could do it justice with my work obligations these past couple of weeks. Mentally? I was distressed. Creatively? I was drained. But I'd be damned if I was ever going to be called a quitter.
So, long story short, I got by with a little help from a friend or two. You might recognize them, actually.
1) Most of this goodness is not mine. This will be obvious. AND
2) While Brdn_Nkd didn't explicitly say so, I know the idea was to do..you know..some actual writing in the comp, and audio tracks have always been considered cheaty in the past.
So for those reasons, I'm going to gracefully bow out (not quit) to Ms Susie Derkins, or to the fine competitors still in this thing, whichever the case may be come deadline.
But there's nothing wrong with conceding IN SONG, right? Right. ROCK.
Hey- at least I stuck to my assigned title..sort of.mp3 (1 MB) [audio/mpeg]
