No dice. This is my 'mild' complaint letter to PriceRunner.
I opened the box yesterday (12/09/07) and have found that the plug is for mainland Europe (possibly America) sockets! (It's a round 2 pronged plug). No adapter was provided and no details were listed on either your own website or Pixmanias.
I then rang them to solve the problem as quickly as possible. I was hoping they would say they had sent the wrong model and would come and replace it asap. They didn't. I explained to the girl my problem and she basically said "You can either send it back to us at your own cost and we'll deal with it within 40 days, or you can deal with the manufacturer yourself. We can't get the number of the manufacturer for you."
There was no apology no nothing!!
I basically paid £275 for a piece of junk that does not work at all! I feel like Pricerunner.co.uk has an obligation to me as a consumer, since you advertised the product on your website. If you bought a car and as you drove it out the fore court the engine fell out, would you phone the manufacturer? No, you'd complain to the people who advertised the car to you as a working product available for purchase.
I am disgusted with Pixmania and I want this sorted out by the end of the week.
