Welcome to Round 4 of Uber-Go-Round (U-G-R)©™.
Round 3 brought out the lovers and the fighters-
from kaos-king's ode to his favorite stories, to Captain Thorns ode to a savior,
from For Reals fiction from Drogo and Fey, to a heartbreakingly honest look at love by Brdn_Nkd,
some hot double-concession-redhead-on-redhead-action by Susie Derkins and Sacrilicious, and of course, SHLONGY'S ASS.
With an even pair of forfeits and minus Susie Ginger and me (which when I first typed came out as 'giner' and made me laugh because it's true), the numbers are Even Steven for this round.

What fires me up is that EVERY time I make a mockery of these contests- which people continually and stupidly let me sign up for - and start having a little success for reasons that cannot be explained, we hear:
"I don't really care BUT this isn't fair blah blah blah, whine whine whine, etc." and,
"Shlongy and his alters have ruined it- he's doing something to make this happen, having his friends and his alters vote to ruin everything waaaaaaaahhhhhh."

Well, it proves TheUniter's point about the lowest common denominator reigning around here, at the very least.
I'm glad I didn't spend hours and hours writing a long, drawn-out story for this, because inevitably it would've been flushed/tanked by the Shlong and his legion of alters, just as any post/opponent opposing him would have been. I wish I could say I understand the mentality behind that sort of behavior, but I don't. And I don't care enough about the rating to retal with a barrage of -2s at 23:59 tonight, either. I need my sleep. :)
At any rate, the good writers will keep saving the good stuff for outside of contests, where the reviews and ratings are at least incrementally more honest and less biased.
