This guy is one of them.
I mean seriously.
Here I am wrapping up a speech with a question and answer period when some assclown gets butt hurt that time is up before he can get up to the front of the line to ask questions (I am sorry I can't stay all day and answer your questions about how space lasers could have been used to melt the WTC). So after that he flips out and makes a big scene by running to the front. Cops surround him to make sure he isn't going to rush the stage, and they ask him to leave, but I go out of my way and say I will finish the question I am on then answer his question.
So I wrap up my question, and then he goes on to a three part question, well beyond the time limit and gives me no time to response to any of his "questions" which were much more accurately described as accusations.
Then after being asked to leave for disturbing the event he flips out and still resists the cops. Of course the tasering occurs along with idiotic chants of police brutality and rodney king. Then the icing on the cake he asks people to follow him out because the cops are going to kill him.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIYTJ75U4NU&mode=related&search= rambling question, with no chance to response, and begining of resisting cops on tape.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y90tjV_Va0o part two of the tasering whining hilarity.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzhiI9jui8M&mode=related&search= part three where he cries about how the cops will kill him.

Those rent-a-cops are a pack of sad sacks if 6 of them can't restrain one college kid. They should be fired for that if nothing else.

In my honest opinion in a situation like that you are a lot more likely to cause permanent damage to a joint by forcing the arm back to cuff it then by using a little pain compliance. I would rather get tasered (actually I would rather just listen to the cop) then to have someone who probably took a three hour course in "joint manipulation" try to safely force my arm back.

After 5+ years of stirring up unrest, the far-left is starting to lose control of their monster.
If you've ever been at a function where a Washington-level leader is in attendance, security is ultra-tight. Those cops were doing their job. What if that shithead was carrying a weapon of some sort? There's no way of knowing until they can shake him down. His resistance to the police, coupled with his arrogant line of questions was a red flag to security that he was trying to pull something off. He may have just been trying to get a cute "look at me" video for youtube, but the cops had no way of knowing that. There was no brutality there - the kid was unharmed. Now if the cops starting stomping on and clubbing him after they got him on the ground, then he can play the brutality card.
It's hilarious the way that Kerry just keeps yammering on, as if nothing is happening.
The best part is when you hear the BZZZZZ, and he starts crying like a bitch.

While I think tasers are totally fucking awesome, I disagree. There was no real reason that the police needed to actually taser the guy. A quick punch to the throat would have been equally effective.

I don't think that tazers should be used in this manner...and it'd certainly count as 'unreasonable use of force' over here, but I dunno about america.
I don't think there is any need to tazer someone who is obviously in no danger of espcaping or harming anyone...isn't holding someone down and electricuting them pretty much torture?
------------------
You are much more likely to injure someone by forcing their hand back into handcuff position with joint pressure then with a little pain compliance with a taser.
If they tasered him without warning I would think it was unreasonable, but the fact is he had multiple chances to cooperate, and even when he was on the ground he was still resisting.

It comes down to the fact that he was already under arrest. He was resisting; he got tasered. If he'd put his hands behind his back and complied with demands, he'd have been taken to the station, handed a misdemeanor citation and released. If the officers had broken his arm or injured his shoulder because of his resistance in an attempt to handcuff him, the outrage and disciplinary action against the arresting officers would've been much more severe. They used the technology available to them in order to subdue him.
While I agree that with six officers, they MIGHT have not needed the taser, it happened. He was acting like a spoiled brat and got his well-deserved spanking. He'll have two minute puncture wounds that'll heal within a week and be none the worse for wear. Yet, since he's a spoiled, whiny little punk, he'll gripe and bitch and sue until mommy and daddy close their wallets and send him to his room.

Okay, the kid was a twat, and I would probably have quite enjoyed tazering him myself, but there were 6 (I think) cops on him....do 6 cops really need to tazer a scrawny unarmed kid they're currently sitting on?

There were five or six cops there. It's not like the kid was on PCP that they couldn't hold him down. And besides, what exactly was he being arrested for? Asking questions? The kid is a bit of a nut, but a couple of his questions were legit, and no reason to pull him out. Kerry was trying to answer the question, but the cops were being way too aggressive.
--------------------------
Let me try to explain it to you again, try and concentrate so your simple brain can comprehend. He wasn't arrested for asking questions. He was asked to leave by the cops before the first link even started because he threw a temper tantrum and started yelling because time was up and he wasn't at the front of the question line to ask questions. Kerry decided to reward his little outburst by agreeing to one more question and lett his asshat skip all the people who had been waiting longer than him, as you can see in the video the cops followed him because he had already caused problems and had Kerry not intervened he would have been tossed after his first outburst. He then goes on to ask a multi part question past the time limit and when his microphone is finally cut he continues to shout and ignore the police requests to be quiet or leave. They then decide he isn't listening and try and remove him, he then resists, it is only then they try and take him down and cuff him, even when he is on the ground he is still resisting by not putting his arms back, they warn him he will be tasered if he doesn't cooperate, and he still doesn't listen. In my eyes it is a pretty clear cut case of when to use a taser.

I'm kinda with constitution on that one. Most leaders get their fair share of shit dished at them, whether it's in support of them, against them, or if they're the target of some nut's misguided ire.
Take McCain. He was asked by some smartass kid if he thought his health was going to affect his ability to lead, and no cops came to drag this kid off, he just responded, laughed, and said "Thanks for the question, jerk."
Yeah, I think the response was a bit unusual. It happens. Get over it. That kid will survive, and I don't think this is going to deal the final blow to democracy.

the last resisted should have been tasered.
After they threatened the taser and gave him a (actually many) chance to cooperate was he tasered.

I didn't know being an obnoxious ass is a reason for police to use a taser on. Besides, John Kerry didn't seem to mind much since he was trying to answer the question, and told the cops to relax. The kid is an ass, but he didn't deserve all of that.
-------------
He wasn't tasered because he was an ass (although in my opinion if people disrupt things like this or movies etc they deserve a taser) he was arrested because the police asked him to leave and he refused, they tried to remove him and he resisted, they took him tot he ground and tried to cuff him, and still resisted, only then, after he was threatened was he resisted. The cops were well within their rights.

Listen to the question. First off he is exploited John Kerry as an Illuminati. The secret society that control's the world. They are devil worshipers and are very smart. The man in the brown suit behind the officers gives the order for them to attack the student. You think there just going to let him scream Illuminati down the halls. Ha you make me laugh. Its bigger then police brutality.
