We went to Thorpe Park in June for The bloke's birthday. Been laods of times but it has got better. Whats the one that goes at 0-80mph in 2 seconds? G-force 5 or something?

It's still better than Chessington. I dimly remember that when I was a child, Alton Towers involved a fuck load of walking and getting chased by wasps. As an adult? A fuck load of walking and queueing for a billions years for (admittedly pretty nifty) rides.

What was Thorpe Park like? I only remember that big ass water slide right at the start. is still the sort of place you go and you come out saying "Alton Towers IS firther away.... but it would've been worth it" or has it got better.
