<B>I've known Amber McElreath for over a decade. Born in East Liverpool, OH in 1981, she has been a natural artist her whole life. Her artwork has evolved multiple times, through her high school classes and through her progress obtaining a BFA in Fine Arts at Kent State University. Her work has been shown in various Cleveland/Akron area galleries as well as the E-Show by Digital MoMA. I did a APW on her work some time ago here... http://www.ubersite.com/m/88313
She has recently been dabbling in mixed multi-media work, which has showcased some of her best work yet. Of her art, McElreath says, "I'm a Pop Surrealist or Lowbrow artist. All of my work is autobiographical: loss, love, memories, music, movies, relationships, marriage, family, depression, anxiety, happiness, obsession, childhood, friendships, betrayal, dreams, etc."
More of her work can be found at http://www.myspace.com/ambermcelreathrowan

Uhm, just to be 100% clear, I would never make an alter. To me, that is the epitome of gay. Sometimes my browser will delete my cookies, and I can barely trouble myself to log back in under my own account, much less make another one up. And why would I -2 Kaos King? I always like his posts.

Nice to see HaHa Rabbit's finally made it into some real art.
I too agree with the Watership Down comments below.

I don't like this, but I don't dislike it either. I can see that she obviously has some talent, it's just not talent that is to my tastes, I guess. Trite is the first word that comes to mind. Overdone, as well. So, +/-0.

Very cool. My overall impression is that she never grew up. Thats a good thing. As we grow older, we forget how to look at the world through a child's eyes.
