Happy Birthday Karl? Who the hell is Karl? He sat wondering in his head,....Karl? He soon became keenly aware that he didn't know where he was or how he came to be seated in this chair. Reluctant to open his eyes he slowly slid his hand down his side and felt pure warmth spread over his body, the reassurance of the cold steel of his sidearm. There were few things he would bet on in this world and one of them was his marksmanship. Wait did he say sidearm? Was he a cop? No, certainly not. He could only recall a few things in this foggy state but one thing he was sure of he was no fucking pig!
He decided to try his luck at opening his eyes and take in the surrondings. Who the Fuck is Karl he thought again. Happy Birthday Karl? Slowly opening his eyes he immediately realized this plan was futile. The bland shapes and mixed hues looked like some kind of Kubrick flick. Leaving them open and struggling to adjust his vision he could slowly make out the chair he was sitting on, upholstered and dingy, the smell was repulsive. He slowly slid his hand off the chairs arm rest and rested it in the warm sand below. His vision slowly coming back he took in the room he was in and focused on a peculiar portrait on the wall. A frowning vulture..... huh thats weird....whos ever seen a vulture frown?

Wait his hand was lolling back and forth in warm sand? He decided now to focus on looking towards the ground and realized he really wasn't in a chair but sitting in sand. Sand as far as the eye could see, nothing but sand. Except that vulture with that weird look on his face, how can a vulture frown. Maybe the vulture knows who this Karl is.
As the vulture hopped towards him examining... calculating.He almost asked the bird the question but then laughed in his head at the absurdity of it.
Then in his last moment of lucidity....

it's like a text version of a farside cartoon.
