So this was a day of upsets. The French beat the Kiwis. The Poms beat the All Blacks. So here we go. It is all lined up for the Springboks.

South Florida is a top 5 team, Michigan lost to a Div-1aa team and a legitimate national championship contender,"""""""'
that should say South Florida is a legitimate MNC contender and Michigan lost to Appalachian State. I apologize for the confusion. I am just so enthused by the lack of overall football talent at the college level right now.
I think I know where it all went. Every talented freshman and sophomore quarterback in America is in the depth at USC, Florida, or Notre Dame (and yet, somehow...). There are 9 blue chip running backs on USC's roster. Every talented receiver in America signs at either Florida or USC. There are about 15 kids in West Virginia's backfield who could star somewhere else. As a result of all this, they let white kids play receiver at Big Ten schools.

It's ok, my Rutgers had its 15 minutes of fame...

Lee Corso just said Stanford was a 40-point underdog. This is great. This almost makes Michigan fans feel better.
This has been a hilarious college football season. Notre Dame sucks, the entire Big Ten sucks and will still probably send Ohio State to the national championship game. South Florida is a top 5 team, Michigan lost to a Div-1aa team and a legitimate national championship contender, USC lost to one of the worst teams in Div-1a at home where they haven't lost in 30-some games (since last getting beat by, of all teams, Stanford), half the top ten lost last week and almost accomplished the same this week. Cincinnati is 6-0. Kansas is undefeated. Nebraska stinks, Miami stinks, and so on. What the hell?

that's nothing. Stanford beat USC. At USC. Stanford stinks and USC, as Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh said, "might be the best team in the history of college football." It kind of takes the pain away from Wisconsin losing. The Cubs' sweep helped too and the Bears should get killed by the Packers tomorrow so I can't wait for that.
