PETA recently visited my quiet beef loving home of Bismarck ND, with its "holocaust on your plate campaign" where animal slaughter is compared to the systematic killing of the jews during world war2. You can view all the fun details at www.masskilling.com i approached the PETA personal who were passing out fliers with some hostility, telling them to keep the pamphlets because i really did not appreciate the explotation of my heritage further their cause. to which the little man passing out pamphlets replied "oh im jewish... im ok with it" trying to be nice i just gave him a thumbs up... when i really wanted to reply .. "yeah i can tell, you look just like the guys on you flier, malnurished. i capped off my journy by stopping at one of the many free hotdog and fried chicken stands surrounding the protest that had been put up by many of the local farmers... in conclusion...for good hotdogs and chicken... go to a PETA protest. anyway checkout their website cause its about as laughable as the attention to grammer and sentance structure i paid on this post. PETA is not out to promote simply treating animals with respect but is on a full fledged campaign to make people belive that animals are exactly the same as people and therefore deserve the same treatment ... and untill then everyone is a meat nazi chicken hater. To anyone who belives in PETA's cause please scroll down to the bottem for a lesson in logical human reasoning, if you hate PETA just go to the damn site already. on arelated note a petition to keep PETA from ever coming back to Bismarck is currently in the works and producing outstanding positive feedback. (ide like to thank anti PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals) for all the wonderful chicken)
Animals are in no way just like people...
reason one - look and observe them ... they really dont look or act like people in many ways.
reason two - if you kill a cow infront of another cow the cow who lived will eat the other cow if you throw a few chunks of the dead one on the food bin right in front of him. if you killed my grandpa in front of me i would not eat him.. not without dip anyway.

I am from Minot too and I think that PETA is just extremly fucked up. They need to get a hobby nad stop being a bunch of hippies.

Hmm so PETA thinks that the cows are as good as the jews? which means they think the jews that died are no better than cows. hmmmmm what other group of people thought jews were no better than animals? ohhh yes..... the nazis! and wait just a tick.. Anyways, PETA is a bunch of dumbasses that really have no concept of the term FOOD.
Humans, are at the TOP of the food chain. Yeah there are some things that can eat us or kill us, but no creature on this planet actively hunts man as a primary source of food.
Ethical treatment of Animals? Wtf is that. Sending an invitation to dinner for Clucky the Chicken instead of scooping his bird ass up and whacking his head off? These dumbfucks that want animals to have the same set of values applied to them as they apply to humans.
Eating other critters as food is natures way. Even plants do it. Although typically it is after the critter has decomposed into goo and is absorbed into the plant that way.
So even if you eat plants, you are still eating meat (in a really REALLY roundabout way)

so basically they are saying, even though it's the nature of every single carnivore in the world to eat other animals, it's only wrong when humans do it??? i don't see them trying to stop lions from eating antelope. or fish from eating other fish. IT'S THE WAY WE ARE PROGRAMMED. WHAT IS SO FUCKING HARD TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT THAT???
and they claim that we are cruel for slaughtering animals to eat? how many animals do the same thing to their prey? mr. kitty catches shit all the time, and it plays with it before it kills it. that's worse than what humans do. if you were a victim of mr. kitty, you'd think it was pretty fuckin' cruel that this cat was clawing you, biting you, and smacking you around to play with you for it's own amusement before it killed you. that's the cat's nature. you can't change that, just like you can't change a human that craves the meat of a cow or chicken or pig.

They're this college humor group at UT, do a lot of odd stuff
At any rate, one day they had a protest over meat and abortion at the same time.
They made signs that said "If Meat = Murder and Murder = Abortion then Abortion = Meat" and passed out fliers on the best ways to eat a fetus, recipes for fajetus (fajitas) and the like.
Generally pissed everyone off. Good times

Hmm, I'm going to have to see for myself, where's the next PETA protest, I am hungry.
On a side note I was born in a small ass town in North Dakota, it was either Hazen or Beuleah. Sad thing is I don't remember which one and I know I spelled the second one wrong. I think this is about the second time in my life I have even talked to another person from that wonderful state and I am not even really talking to you.

My gradfather started a meat store that all my uncles, some of my cousins, my dad, and I worked at at sometime or another. One day when I was opening the store, I noticed a sticker on our window. It read "Cows are Nice" or some crap like that. I peeled it off. The next week there was another sticker so I changed it to to "Cows are tasty." The next week, they put a sticker over that one proclaiming that "Fish are our Friends." Our shop didn't really carry a lot of fish, so i drew a large arrow pointing to the fish store next door to us.
Just remember cows are made from grain, just like beer.

99% of this was really funny.
The 1% attributed to eating your grandpa with dip was simply hilarious. Great post. I hate the PETA so much. They actually have a campaign on right now to get kids to tell their parents not to have a MasterCard, because they're a sponsor the Ringling Bros. Circus, which treats animals bad.
